Some of you have been with this challenge for months and some are brand new. This is one of the hardest challenges to stay with throughout the entire month.
FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS!! Log every BLT (Bite, Lick, Taste). Stay strong and true to yourself....YOU WILL SUCCEED!!
Please feel free to share as much information as you feel comfortable sharing about yourself with the rest of the group. I look forward to getting to know all of you a little better.
GOOD LUCK!

Hi there, I'm Katie. This is my first challenge and I'm excited to do this. Daily exercise is difficult for me because I have 24/7 vertigo, and some days/weeks get really tough and I can't get up off the couch. I would like to challenge myself to at least try yoga or something on those days. As far as food goes, I like to eat clean at home as much as I can, but I have a pretty major sugar addiction that I have to fight with on a daily basis. I'm looking forward to talking with everyone who joins and supporting each other!7

Welcome everyone! March will be my third month of UAC, no Winners Circle yet, but the accountability has made such a positive difference. I strive for the Winners Circle but I’ll keep coming back even if I never make it. Here’s to a great March!7

Hi there, Maddie here!
This will be my 24th month participating in UAC. I feel like it’s my secret weapon!
I went from a BMI of 34.2 to one in high 22 to 23’s from Jan 2016 through April 2020, maintaining the past 10 months.
These three habits keep me exercising, tracking, and keeping my mind in the calories game.
Welcome both newbies AND returnees!!!10 -

Hi Katie.
Me too! Love sugar and sweetness. There is an article posted within CNN's site today regarding sugar cravings and lack of sleep. Apparently, women who do not sleep enough crave sugar, saturated fats, and caffeine more than those who do. Of course the study only included 500 women which is not a large test group. But, I will say when I am not sleeping well I have a tendency to have more bad cravings than good.

Hello everyone.
I found this challenge last month and joined. My eating habits have gotten a little sloppy since the beginning of the year. The scale continues to move in the right direction.
I joined MFP at the end of August and as of today am down a total 36.4 pounds. Original goal was to lose 40 pounds, but as I approach goal I am thinking I may adjust to 45 pounds which will be the maximum weight loss amount for me. I am almost 5'9" with a medium frame. If I lose more than 45 pounds I will begin to look like a skeleton which is not a good look for me.
I am looking forward to continuing my journey with this group of positive and supportive people.6 -
@RangerRickL - Thank you for posting the March link and keeping us together.5

Hi, I'm in! I need to decrease my emotional knee jerk reactions and increase data and critical thinking with respect to eating and exercising habits. Looking forward to having some support in this. Thanks!6

Hello, everybody. I joined this challenge last September and have continued every month. I've been in maintenance since November 2019. Although I'm a normal weight now, my healthy habits are still shaky, so showing up here every day is extremely helpful, whether I make the Winner's Circle or not. I also appreciate the friendly, supportive community.
Welcome to the newcomers!6 -
Hey y'all I am new to challenges, but this one seems well suited to me. I have been dieting for a while and been reasonably successful at weight loss, but not at consistently exercising. I have lost something north of 100 pounds, how much kind of depends on when I start counting, I still have about 50 pounds I need to lose so hopefully this will help.
Looking forward to it.6 -
Hi everyone! Excited to be back for my 14th month with this challenge!8

It's been a year since I could train in my chosen sport of Jiu Jitsu thanks to various injuries and surgeries and complications, and I'm ready to get back on the mat, face the fears I have developed, get fit and strong again and drop the weight I picked up. It's not too much, but I'm healthier without it and I need to look after my body after giving my kidney away last year.
Mu shoulder is healed enough to train and the twisted ankle should be good enough to start slow by 2 March. Ready to dig deep for this month and make a significant difference!9 -
Hello, this will be my 6th month with the UAC. I've lost 25 lbs since September, looking to lose another 15-20! The UAC helps me stay consistent and keep on track. Looking forward to another month of accountability4

Thanks Suzi, I appreciate the insight! I'm going to be doing a sleep study in a few months, so we'll see how it goes.4 -
Glad to be back UAC and looking forward to checking in March.3

March is my fourth month with UAC. I love the group and the challenge. I have a tendency to except great things from myself and then get disappointed that I don't achieve my goals, but UAC is something I seem to be able to succeed with.
I entered my maintenance range on 1/10. I have been struggling a bit with eating enough to stop losing weight (due to GERD/reflux), but I'm getting better at it.
Welcome to all the new folks.8 -
Hi everyone! This is my first time attempting this challenge. I have really let my body go in recent years and I need to be more mindful of what I am doing for my body. Hoping to see some change by the end of March

Hey, this is month number 2 for me joining the UAC challenge. I appreciate this group for being that little push I need at the end of my long days to put in my 20 minutes of exercise. 10 pounds down in the last 40 ish days. Looking forward to more!6

Hi Everyone! This seems like a great group as I’m looking for some accountability. I’ve been stuck at the same weight for a while and need to lose 15 lbs; 9 to get me into a healthy BMI, plus 6 more for good measure. I hope to see the scale moving in the right direction again this month 🤞
Good luck everyone!6
