This month, a new member, @espangili posted this NSV.
NSV?
1. I went from obese bmi to normal range on the Asian American bmi chart.
2. From size 12 and tent dresses to 4, 2, or 0 and extra small. Every brand is different so a range.
3. Getting compliments that I never heard in my life like gorgeous, skinny minnie, little, etc. Best one from my mom who never compliments me - "beautiful".
4. From isolated couch potato to a double hike today with an expanded support group of walking buddies.
5. More emotionally healthy that I'm not going to food 1st but going to God with my feelings, feeling my feelings, using new tools to deal with stress, larger support group to go to, etc.
6. Celebrating my 1st year chip at celebrate recovery from emotional overeating next month April 2020 - praise the Lord!13 -
Not only was it an inspiring post, I learned that there is a dress size below 0. What guy knows that? Not me!7

Exercised: Yes (6km walk in 80 mins - flat)
Tracked: Yes
Budget: Yes
Long walk today with my wife. First time she has walked in a while.
Continuing to adjust medication timing. Looks like it will eventually be morning instead of evening.
Now to try get more sleep. Was woken by an agitated and stressed daughter at 3:00am this morning (media bombardment about how terrible COVID-19 is and restrictive measures that are limiting social activity) . After calming her down so she could sleep, my insomnia kicked in and I eventually got a couple more hours post 7:00am.
( Good news on this front is that a team in Queensland, Australia believe they have an effective "cure" using already "approved" on-the-market pharmaceuticals - https://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/health/health-problems/coronavirus-australia-queensland-researchers-find-cure-want-drug-trial/news-story/93e7656da0cff4fc4d2c5e51706accb5
Should this prove successful, then life may start to return closer to normal quicker (due to reduced perceived demand for critical health services). Not to mention better likely outcome for those at higher risk of complications. This also buys time for proper development, testing and distribution of a vaccine (which is months away at best). ).

So long as you have internet, there are many many body-weight exercise options to fall back on. Darebee is a great place to start looking . "Fitness blueprints: no-equipment visual workouts, fitness programs and challenges, training and running tips, recipes and nutrition advice." They also have a twitter feed and have put out "suggestions for staying sane and active while staying home" in the past day or two.
https://google.ca/search?source=hp&ei=p75wXuuID4LK_QbW47SwCQ&q=darebee&oq=Darbee&gs_l=psy-ab.1.0.0i10j0j0i10j0j0i10j0l2j0i10j0j0i10.2113.5016..7568...0.0..0.119.534.4j2......0....1..gws-wiz.......0i131.dNwGQxXChNc
edit - just noticed that Darebee might also have a Youtube channel ....7 -
Now for the "commute" up the stairs "to work" ....7

Sorry I havent been on here in a while. It's been a hard couple weeks. I haven't been keeping track of anything but have, shockingly, lost a little weight. Two weeks ago tomorrow my 16-1/2-year-old cat got very sick. She ended up needing an enema because she was constipated. I could tell she wasn't well at all. After the enema until Friday morning she was very lethargic and laid on the bed, not eating or drinking, and would only urinate a couple times, the last time on the bed. We took her back to the emergency vet, and they took blood tests and did an ultrasound. She had large, misshapen kidneys and a couple nodules, very elevated white count and elevated kidney function tests. We made the heartbreaking decision to put her down, as we knew she wouldn't recover from this. It's been devastating, so we spent a weekend rearranging the house and doing a deep cleaning. She had a very good life for 16-1/2 years! We're going to take a break from a pet for a while.
Then last week coronavirus came. My family has been healthy. My sister has had a bad flu/body aches for a couple weeks. Based on her symptoms, they say it's not coronavirus. She's still miserable, though. The only good thing about this pandemic is that it's distracting me from the grief over my cat's death.
I hope you all are staying healthy!!
I plan to join April's challenge.17 -

For sheer workload, there is a lot of non-gym exercises that can be done to work both strength and stamina. My main go-to for bodyweight is Althlean-X (Jeff Cavaliere delivers excellent advice on how to do exercises correctly minimising chance of injury).
Hopefully you can continue to have an environment to exercise in that works for you.

Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes, including the large decaf coffee from Panera I just picked up. Their door is locked and all the chairs are on the tables, but the sign on the door says customers can still order, just not enter the cafe, My town looks like a ghost town.
@lamlamsmakeover I am so sorry you lost your dear kitty. Take a little comfort that you gave each other a lot of love during her life.10 -

I hit "complete" on my food diary to make it official for this evening - kitchen closed! I'm having a REALLY hard time getting motivated. With my husband and I both home, and all this stress in the air, I just want to sit on the couch and eat all day.8 -

@lamlamsmakeover I am so sorry you lost your kitty. 16.5 years is a good long life, but when it is YOUR little furball, it never quite seems long enough
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Well over 20 minutes, plus a late night walk for some fresh air.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes. Over 80 fitbit exercise calories left in the bank at 9:00 pm. Not bad considering this was my first full work-at-home day, so there is much less "walking to the farther photocopier and other step-count stretching trips.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes
Days goals met: 15

Exercise? Yes! 28 minute walk --- outdoors! But not near any people. We figure that's ok. And it totally wiped me out. I'm still far from recovery.
Within my calorie plan? Yeah. Not much appetite, but I'm used to eating when I need to even if I'm not very hungry.
Tracked everything? Definitely.5 -

I'm also bemoaning the lack of gym and social workout interaction and also daily activity since I'm used to getting past 5k steps just from the workday. Even though I got my 20 min of exercise, I had negative exercise calories so had to eat less to stay under. I think I need to start going for walks to get out of the apt.3
