I'm grateful to be healthy today. I'm grateful to be sharing with the UAC team today.4 -
I am grateful to have another day. Hugs to all and prayers for those in need.7

As ever, grateful to all of you.
For my health and my loved ones'.
For the basics in these uncertain times: a (modest) roof over our heads, a (small) garden, food, an income.
I went awol from here sorry the last 2-3 days as I'm trying to work out the best way forward for myself. We're all still ill, who knows what with. The first person we know losing a family member to it has happened. I wasn't sure if limiting my screen time and reading everyone's tales would help or not. I'm going to try to keep it up to be a team player but if I go quiet it's for self preservation sorry!11 -
@am_change
So sorry to hear about your loss.
We are all working through the same emotions and ways to cope. Do what is best for you.
Some of the boards I am on have made a rule - if it is covid-19 related comments are put in a spoiler so folks can choose to read the updates.
If anyone is interested this is done by typing without the spaces [ spoiler ] at the beginning and [ /spoiler ] at the end. I had to input the spaces in order to type out the instructions.
Example
Covid-19 UpdateI have been in lock down for four days and was starting to feel a little closed in. I live by myself so it has been a little bit of a challenge. I am also a care taker by nature so feel a little adrift only having to worry about myself.
I am so very fortunate to have a job I can work remotely. I am sending prayers out to those who are food and/or job insecure. My heart goes out to those folks.
I am using the extra commute time to hit things on my to-do list which never seems to get done. I imagine my home will start to get very organized and clean over the next few weeks.
I have taken a food inventory and will need to get a little creative at using up the canned goods. I figure I have at least three weeks of supplies here. Once things need replenishment I will be placing my first online and pick up order. It's my thought it is the best way to limit any type of exposure and will provide more protection to first responders and front-line personnel.
We can do this!
Sending hugs to all and prayers for those in need.10 -

Exercised: Yes (6km walk in 50 mins - hills)
Tracked: Yes
Budget: Yes
Did not get out yesterday (or post), but managed today.
Dishwasher not working, so one extra thing to do around the house for a while.
Like @SuziQ113 , will put any COVID-19 stuff in spoiler. Nothing to add today on that (fortunately).
Grateful that I have a good family that supports each other. Also grateful for the support of the UAC community.
Stay strong and safe everyone.

Our 7 cb ft chest freezer will be delivered on Wed. We are border-line seniors age bracket. Mostly bought freezer for our (not living at home, but in the same town) SON'S peace of mind.
Silver lining for ME is that I will now have the capacity/option moving forward&beyond to do the advance-prep&freeze a week's varied lunches and that kind of thing.
Only thing missing is a supply of freezer-to-microwave containers ..... (although I DO have varied-sized freezer ziplock bags for the separating now ... and the need for portable re-microwave containers won't come into play until no longer working from home.)6 -
Once I get the info off my work-at-home computer (not sure if the best way will be to take photo of screen or have it read off while I retype on my home computer) I will be posting various "Mental coping strategies with world situation / Mental coping strategies with working from home-unaccustomed social distancing" type tip lists put out by our Employee Assistance / Workplace Wellness people.
I will post them both on the day-thread and on the What's on your mind thread to make them easier to re-find.

Anybody want to join me for a walk? But please keep the recommended social distance. 🙃
Have a great day all!
Grateful for my health and my friends health.
Be safe.4 -
If anybody is (or has a friend-or-relation who is) interested in internet multi-player space-based games, we run one from the server in our basement. send me a PM and I will pass on the link (or I can put it in the Whats On Your Mind page too). This has ALWAYS been free.
Think "you are your own ship in a Star-Trek-like universe" As you get into proximity with another game-player ship (as opposed to the game-generated opponent-ships) you can hail each other and have conversations. My DH can provide more specific details if asked via PM.
This KIND of interact-with-real-people-in-real-time on-line gaming will be very helpful for giving people a way to break up the sense of isolation.
There are also many variants on game-themes, so if "space-ship captain" isn't your thing, there is bound to be SOMETHING out there that might appeal.
Technical connectivity options are there, people! USE them!6 -

The other was to make a Spoiler envelope is available in the options bar when you are entering a reply (via the drop-down arrow beside the Paragraph Marker (extra-thick backwards "P" between the "bullet list" and the "emoticon drop-down"
The machine will then create the opening and closing coding same as it does for bolding, list-format etc.3 -

My daughter just came home from college. Her birthday is tomorrow. Her bf asked if he could come down.
guess we're going to have lasagna since that's what I have in the freezer. I don't know how long he or she is staying. I do have 4 pork chops we can have. I'll have a stuffed clam since no one else seems to like them. Maybe colby does, I don't know.
Got most of the ceramics out by the pool today.
am making yogurt. I'm not sure how financially it works out, I think it's about equal to buying it in the store. But it tastes so much better (at least to me)
Got a Carvel ice cream cake for her for tomorrow.6 -

3/21/20 Another successful day.
Yes, Yes, Yes! x 3
Highest calorie food today were 7oz salmon, chicken tamale (240+ cals a tamale!) and 1/2 a serving of chocolate chip cookie.
All tracked and in the budget.
Thanks for walking with me. Stay safe and healthy!
Have a successful day tomorrow all!5 -
Exercise? YES
Double than yesterday
Calorie budget? YES
It helps me to not to live in my baggy pjs during this "shut in" time, rather at minimum put on my size 2p jeans so I'm aware of my figure and the uncomfortable but tiny muffin top when sitting to be more mindful of eating.

I'm thankful that I am 10 years post kidney transplant. Ever day is a gift. Thankul for the health I have. And most especially thankful for a loving Creator who has given me life and a hope according to his word.6 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes - rebounder walked through whole movie DVD, and later fresh air walk with DH (pick a time when few others are out, and give any other walkers a mutual wide berth)
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes - didn't ANY of the 73 fitbit calories earned
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes - just finishing up Evening snack (Post Dark Chocolate Shredded Wheat. Chocolate AND fiber together , as a snackfood (not treated as a breakfast cereal) Who'da thought!
my "grateful for" is mostly in early posts, but I will add "grateful for a personality well-suited to the hermit-crab mentality that is safest these days"

I'm grateful for each of you who posted at least one time. A special UAC award to @BMcC9 who may become our newest UAC cheerleader!! Thanks so much!
I was home alone all day and I did fine. Which is unusual for an extrovert. I've begun to pack for my drive-to-isolation-in-the-desert. I'll be leaving my law firm by the end of Monday and stay away from everyone but my wife until this is over.
I'll be 'broadcasting live' from Phoenix, AZ.
Today, was a simple 3 yes day.6 -
Well hello there! I did track every morsel...and I did exercise....but no...I'm over on calories. I made lots of bad choices today...and really didn't plan ahead...and that, as we all know, is the first step to being ober. So - yeppers...
Thankful for so many things...
good to reflect...

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes, a dog walk for my 88 year old neighbor's little dog, a walk for myself, and 2.5 hours of cleaning -- I pitched in with other employees again and disinfected my workplace because of the coronavirus (cleaned door handles, the ATM, vending machines, anything anybody touches).
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? yes, way under
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? yes
What am I grateful for today?
I'm grateful that I'm employed. My town looks like a ghost town with so many closed businesses. The government considers my place of employment to be essential, so I will not be laid off or given reduced hours. My schedule is staying the same.
I'm grateful for my good friends and wonderful neighbors.
I'm also grateful for the UAC. Thanks for being a stable, friendly place where I can check in at the end of the day.2 -

Yes to all 3.
I am grateful that despite being in a mandatory stay at home, I could still enjoy the day with a great 8 mile run this morning.3 -

I'm grateful to know Jesus has everything under control. I am also grateful that my son is here with us instead of 35 hours away!2
