    @ANACONDA469 - Just saw your description...."Tour de Livingroom"....love it! :smiley::lol:

Well folks, it's finally Friday! This has seemed like an unusually long week this week, but thankful the weekend is very near! The weather should be nice enough that I can go get my Harleys out of storage and bring them home for the riding season! Also, I will get out for a walk or bicycle ride through my new neighborhood today too! SO many people that have been out and about exercising lately with no gyms to go to.

Stay safe, my friends, and make the best of your weekend!

I've been able to ride my bike the past few days. I think I feel well enough to go for a run - maybe tomorrow. I'm at 69/75 so I should be able to make my goal.
@sufferlandrian - that's great about by masks by mistake!
    Be well everyone!

I think we all need a virtual (((((((((hug)))))))). I wish it could be the real thing. If Janet could kick the snout out of Covid -19...we can too. Be strong, be wise, get plenty of rest and don’t stress. We have no guarantees for tomorrow,,,so don’t worry about what is not here yet or what to do, each day has enough worries of its own. A very wise book taught me that. In the meantime, I will be happy to pray for anyone that wants me to. Send me a pm.

3.2 mile walk, outside at the hour my NC county started their "Stay at Home" order. Outdoor exercise is allowed. Our three office OBGYN practice will have one clinic open five days, mine will be M/W and the other T/Th and Fri AM if there are virus patients. I can do phone triage at any location so I'm going to the T/Th office on those open days. I'm going to try my own on Fri when it's closed, but it's only a morning shift. They're starting telemedicine appts next week as well.

Tomorrow's my birthday, so I've got an ice cream cake in the freezer and planning on supporting a local Italian restaurant. I'll force myself for the good of the local economy

I have done 6.5 miles of walking the past two days with my grandsons. That puts me at goal.
I believe I had COVID too. I was in Washington at medical appointments on Feb 16th-18th. We were home when we started reading of all these cases. 12 days after getting home I got sick. Started with feeling WEAK, tired & NO appetite. Then a fever & nerve pain in my back so bad I couldn't sit or sleep. The last thing was a burning in my chest & cough. Once I knew I was sick I stayed AWAY from people & if I was around people it was at least 10 feet. So far nobody I know has been ill! To treat it I took extra strength Tylenol & doubled my supplements. I also MADE myself move so it wouldn't just set in my lungs. I still get tired easily & I still have this tickley cough once in awhile! I just hope once you've had it that you can't catch it again! I also know that when I was sick they had NO test kits in our rural community.
My son & ((4)) sons may be coming to live with us when COVID hits their towns hospital. That is where his wife is a Director of Nurses & beings they are already short staffed she will eventually come in contact with it by being on the floor covering for someone. The grandsons will LOVE being here but ohhhh my goodness it is work when they are here!!

Thanks! I kind of almost feel guilty for working in a doctor's office now instead of the hospital. My old coworkers on L&D are now wearing masks and gowns the entire shift for all the patients. My other coworkers back in NYC are seeing and doing incredibly hard things with little.

We've been rescheduling anyone with a fever or other symptoms. I'm sure at some point it'll catch up with us but I don't feel on the "front lines."

Did a 4.3 mile walk outside. Just ordered my Italian food for my solo birthday dinner and included a cannoli even though I have a cake in the freezer. Eating all the carbs. - and logging it all as 1 calorie since I can't count that high

    Stay safe everyone!!

@Kar Happy birthday girl! Thank you for all the dedication you have given this profession. I appreciate everyone that has been out there doing what they can to keep this country afloat and especially the medical field. God bless you!

@vhuber: It sure sounds like you had it. Did you keep away from your hubby? I hear that there are various symptoms. I did hear sense of smell and lack of taste of food, along with fever and cough.
Some have headaches, some sore throat. I started coming down with a sore throat Tuesday night but I ramped up my immune treatments and it disappeared by Thursday morning and gone by evening.i sure hope you have antibodies now and it does not come back. I heard an interview by a doctor at the White House and they feel it will most likely act like other viruses, except this one is deadly.instead of .01 % it will be more like .1% of the population.

I am praying for all of you!

I get to celebrate 5 years retired tomorrow! Yes! I'm going to smash peppermint candy and sprinkle it on vanilla ice cream to celebrate. yummm!

@Chris: Congratulations on 5 years. You have every right to celebrate for more reasons than that. And wow, you give yourself so little credit. A half a block already after surgery is amazing! Girl you are making progress. Your distance will get longer and longer in no time.

I am going to toot our horns a little. My hubby and I have lost a combined 70 pounds since January. He has lost 40 and I have shed 30. It has been wonderful doing this together. When my dad got ill, we were grabbing meals on the run or eating stuff and not watching our calories just to get something in my stomach. We have gotten back on a healthy life style again and it has been great challenging and supporting each other. His pulmonologist has been asking him to try and get down under 200 pounds and today he hit 194. We both have a few more to go. I want to get back near my running weight even though my running days are most likely gone if I want to avoid a knee replacement. But I am working hard on my bike and weights again. It is good to feel healthy again. I also got My 6 1/2 year all clear from any signs of breast cancer. Praising God for the good things we are blessed with each day.
Have a good week! And as Janet said wash your hands often!

@clepant: That is AWESOME!! I'm actually envious cuz I am GAINING weight. LOL
If I get nervous or stressed I EAT!!! I'm not working nor am I leading full body workouts but tomorrow that is gonna change cuz today I got my house all put back together & cleaned after the grandsons left so tomorrow is RESET!
Got out a ran 2.25 & walked .25 miles before we did Livingroom laptop Church service! We did communion too. Got out juice & crackers. It is weird not being able to attend church but I do understand the reasoning too!
I've said prayers that each of you stay well through all this!

You just had MAJOR surgery and this is part of rehab & getting back to where you were! You WILL get there!! But don't enjoy to manybowls of chipped mint ice cream or you are going to gain like I have!!! LOL

@LAMLAMSMAKEOVER - So sorry to hear about your cat!! That is hard to go through...but it was the loving thing to do. :flowerforyou:

But for you and everyone else...I'm completely fine with adjusting your goal distance you're shooting for in light of all the things going on with the Coronavirus! Gyms and all sorts fitness centers are being closed nationwide and between that and self-quarantining, that may affect many people's plans for this month.

@KAR328 - I can't even imagine. People are so ignorant sometimes.

@ANACONDA469 - Sorry your ski trip was canceled!! But it's good to see that you were able to salvage the trip and find something else to do!

@CLEPANT - My dental office was proactive and they are not seeing anybody for anything routine. Only urgent issues. I'm surprised your PCP isn't following the same protocol.

    Stay safe and healthy!

I still have 2 days there’s no way I can get 15 miles in with the gym close, unfortunately. Would you be able to adjust mine to 170 instead of 175, sorry! If no no worries. Next month, I’m definitely going to have to lower my goal some until I get a normal routine again.

1.8 miles possibly. woke up this morning but my iphone did not. Won't turn on. Walked without using my Runkeeper app but I have a good idea of what I walk so that's what I'm logging. Took it to a repair place at lunch, but it's completely dead. Just finished ordering another one online since the stores are closed. So until I get it, I walk around with my ipad. #firstworldproblems. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5pgG1M_h_U if that link doesn't go through, search John Krasinski and SGN . I loved it, it's just what we need right now.
