Yesterday, we hiked in a desert park that is 800 feet higher in elevation than our usual desert trails. The foliage was more abundant and included a variety of different plants.
Rose is being embraced by an unusual Saguaro cactus17 -
@RangerRickL Fantastic photo. It almost looks as though the cactus is embracing Rose. The landscape is as far away as possible from the area where I live (heavily wooded east coast USA). Nature is amazing.5

Sending prayers and positive thoughts that your first day was OK and proper protocols and procedures were in place.
Big hug to you for being so committed to your co-workers.
And, remember any one can be a catalyst for change. It may be you who makes your workplace a safer and a less scary place!9 -
@RangerRickL
Thank you for sharing the picture of your DW and the amazing cactus. My first thought was it looked like an octopus getting ready to grab her! You certainly live in a beautiful place.5 -

@dsgoingtodoitdsgoingtodoit , YES! I am going to have my husband put a change of clothes in our storage area, which is separate from the house and have a plastic bag ready to put my scrubs in when I get there, then straight to the washing machine.
The cloth mask did fine getting me in the door this morning, and I have a paper loop mask on all the time, and eye protection when I am up on the floors. I wear glasses, so I've got some decent sized goggles. I have gotten REALLY good at NOT touching my face, not touching elevator buttons and paddles, key pads, etc. I use the end of a ballpoint pen for that and sanitize it every time I sanitize my hands, which seems like every other minute when I'm all over the building counting tanks.
I am not going to lie...I went into one covid patient area with the appropriate PPE and felt a little uneasy, and went into the soiled room of another wondering what I might be coming in contact with, so I touched NOTHING but my clipboard and foamed like crazy when I came out.
@RangerRickL that pic is gorgeous! I used to live in Eastern NM and while I am a huge coastal person, I do still miss the desert! Thanks for sharing that.
So far I am on track for the day. 48 minutes of walking this morning, healthy breakfast, lots of water.
I'll check back in later this evening.12 -

So very grateful that I have a career where I can work from home! Managed some exercise not what I wanted but it snowed again and predictions are for 65 on Monday and right now it’s 31!!
Tracked and logged happy Easter to all who celebrate11 -
Yes times three, no passes used yet.7

Logged and Under? Yes.
Exercise? Yes.
My husband and I went for a short 34 minute walk around the neighbourhood. There was snow on the ground, temperature around zero C (32 F) and the wind from the west was brutal, but I am so glad we did; It would be a shame to use up a pass day just because it was a little cold for an April day. Coming soon, there is Easter dinner on Sunday (for my family that I live with) and my birthday on Wednesday, both of which could very well end up being pass days for good reasons.11 -

Rushed post last night. Let myself get over-tired and lost ability to self-regulate core temperature. It's one of my known warning signs.
I managed to get wife out for a short walk before I went for a longer one.
Still no improvement in the eye.Really struggling with keeping my mood up in current conditions. I need time and space to work on my own MH issues, but no chance of that in the near future. It is also constant work to ensure wife and daughter do not antagonise each other (as all are feeling the strain).
Daughter is finding it especially tough as craves contact with her others her own age and is only able to do that through skype, discord and other social media. My daughter also had severe mental health issues and requires constant vigilance to ensure episodes are not triggered.14 -
Exercised: yes, hauled brush from my property and walked around a store, mostly a rest day. We have strong, cold wind here. I also needed a rest day. My arms and legs have been aching from all the yard work this week. I'm so concerned about the coronavirus I keep checking my temperature to make sure my aching muscles don't mean I'm sick, but I seem to be okay.
Calories: yes
