Starting this month off better than last week. I however (TMI) started my cycle and am feeling very bloated. I forgot to post here and log my weight, mostly because I know most of the gain was because of that. What are your tricks to stay on task?

@cayladebra I know lots of people hate to weigh daily but that's what works for me, once I stop weighing myself daily, I'm doomed to weight gain and lots of it!3

Starting to feel a little disheartened. In the last 8 weeks, I've struggled to drop even 2kg, yet previously I'd been dropping an average of 1kg a week. I knew the losses would slow down, but It's frustrating seeing the scales barely move, and day to day can have a 1kg swing.
It's like my body has said "well, we've made it half way, and this is where we're going to stay"
Not having access to the gym hasn't helped either. I used to use the exercise bike, then weights, and finish with a casual walk on the treadmill. Now I'm struggling to even get a small walk in (at any decent pace) as it hurts my back and knee (and backs of my heels where they rub on the exposed plastic as my shoes are falling apart), as well as having my 9yr old daughter home from school and complaining the entire walk as we can't stop and play at the park.
My goal this month really is to not put on any weight and try to keep eating healthy. And try to stay positive with all that's happening.

@AzarielMoon That's a good goal in these circumstances.
The one thing I would say is to double check that you are not now eating too much fat? The idea is that we start to use our own fat stores and so once we are fat adapted and your body is running on Ketones then you want to cut back on the fats a bit and up the protein. That way the fat your body is using for fuel comes from you and not so much from what you are eating.
Also it's sometimes a good idea to give your body a rest, just maintain your weight then start again trying to loose. Stay safe

In my time of Saturday night weakness, I experienced a brief emergency scone baking fit. That storm has now passed. Onward and upward (downward.)

Happy Easter everyone. I hope you are all safe and well. These pandemic restrictions are certainly altering my normal spring routine. I’m missing activities I do to help me in pursue my fitness goals. My daily exercise group has been put off until at least May 4th, bowling league has been canceled and softball season has been delayed until June 9th.
The good news is, lots of things have been done around the home. I can’t say I’ve completely cured my procrastination, but this situation has me moving in a good direction on that front. These stay at home restrictions have also helped my keto focus.
Although I miss my normal spring, I am grateful to use these restrictions as an opportunity to strengthen my keto discipline. When this pandemic goes away, I hope we all can pursue our normal lives with renewed appreciation and vigor.

How could I seriously forget to post?! Losing track still of days and all routines. I wasn’t very good yesterday for eating and sleeping. Exercise was good but the other 2 components are more important even for immunity. Is anyone else feel cheating with fruit justified right now though? The struggle is real. I can’t get enough protein if I fill up on carbs. Sleep eludes me then I make excuses because I can sleep later but then don’t get the naps in either. Take care and keep calm ❤️

Same as I was last Sunday though for one glorious day I went down to 160 then straight up again and past it the next day ,why oh why. Anyhow onwards and downwards.
We have another 3 weeks total lock down here in the UK, stay safe everyone.

On Friday, the scale said 199.6. Of course, I was elated but more relieved than anything. Then, yesterday, it was cold, rainy, windy. I felt hungry and sad. There are so many articles everyday in the papers and online about comfort foods at this time. Literally, I was sad that I will/can not do that. So, I ate too much chicken, hamburger, (delicious) cheddar che🤪e and salad. And... whoops, there it Is! Still, I’ll take it any old day. Maybe next week...
