@oldDogBiking I had never consider the dangers of elk calving. Thanks for that thought. One more thing that I don't have to worry about as a Midwestern flatlander. We do have tornadoes though.2

OK, my own report:
Exercise: active stretching in the morning and a brisk 30 minute walk with Rose in the evening.
Calories: under by okay margin
Tracking: good...it kept me from being tempted by the ice cream that Rose offered to me after dinner.9 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Did a few hours of You Tube dance and boxing, weights, body strength, yoga, and foam rolling then walked around the house while on the phone not realizing I'd been on a couple hours, I burned a ton of calories!
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes, have 500 left and I'm stuffed, I can't believe I'm saying this but I can't eat anything else. Made a huge dinner with two plates of food and still had yogurt and fruit afterward.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes8 -

Pass #8
Sorry to disappoint myself and gloomy report... it was so stressful at work that it brought me to tears... plus progesterone increased causes ravenous cravings... My coach and I determined this isn't gonna be a quick fix but deep seated stuff. I know not a winner for this month but want to stay accountable and keep trying and practicing. Ranger Rick, should I stop logging here since way over limit of 3 and such a downer?10 -
Pass day #26

@epangili Please don't stop posting! I'm at Pass Day #4 and usually I have already crashed out of the challenge by now. This is the longest I've ever managed, I think. Other fallible people, who struggle, like me, but persevere, unlike me, are a huge support. I couldn't stand it if I were surrounded by smiley people who keep posting happy triple Yes's! Thank you for being my MFP friend and consistently liking my successes, commenting and supporting. We'll try and support you!9

Many thanks for all the lovely Birthday wishes. I celebrate every day that I wake up. We only have a finite number so each one is precious to me.10

20 days in the bag, nice going team!6 -
@epangili - @Chinkiri is right. My own experience - Iβve been doing this for months. I havenβt made the winnerβs circle yet but Iβm getting closer. Even when I have too many passes to make it, I keep trying and tracking and exercising and posting. This keeps me from throwing in the towel and having pass days every day for the rest of the month. Changing our habits and our ways to self-comfort takes time but it is doable. Keep at it!9

@TerriRichardson112 Happy Birthday!
@epangili keep posting! I haven't made the winner's circle the last few months but still felt welcome posting here, and feel that the support helped nme stay more in check than I would otherwise

Absolutely NOT!! From now till May 1 is "pre-season training camp" for the MAY Winner's Circle.7 -
yes x's 3 - but barely made it on calories for "cutting"... exercise was "zoom" zumba class...and yardwork...
I was in a bit a of a less than stellar mood much of yesterday until we had our outside time(vit D does wonders).
Aiming for resuming normalcy in my sleep schedule...
Curious - do any of you have a scale that you think is accurate? If so - I would appreciate the brand name please.3 -

I bought a Health o meter digital scale at Walmart last year. It's consistent and cost only $20.

Accuracy is a question for me. I have no idea exactly what I weigh. My scale says I went from 174 pounds to 138 pounds last year.
However, how can I compare my scale's reading to the scale in the doctor's office? They weigh me with my clothes, and my appointments are never first thing in the morning, so by then I've had something to eat and drink.

O no O, please do not stop. One of the reason I like this group is the support. We are not all perfect and the 3 yeses is not just the only goal here! It is good to aspire towards these 3 yeses and be in the winner's circle. But, the habits of these 3 yeses everyday or most days of your life is the end goal.
Does it mean you will not fail at least once? No! But the more you do these 3 yeses, the better you become. There are months I don't make the winner's circle. But I am glad I didn't give up in between.
Think about it this way 8 days you didn't say 3 yeses compare to 13 days you said 3 yeses. There are still 9 more days to go.
In 9 more days you will have 8 passes to 22 days of yeses. Instead of 17 passes to 13 yeses. That is a win!
Please stay my dear don't leave. We are all here to support one another.6 -
Chinkiri, readyornot1234, cJane917, Coach, and Ranger Rick, thank you for your encouragement to keep posting. I was worried that I my multi passes would be discouraging to others and plus I don't see others having as many passes as I've posted in one month. I guess if it's not discouraging anyone and everyone understands that I'm working to my own personal best in achieving a healthy lifestyle at my own pace, then I will keep being accountable and post. Thank you again for your support and accountability.7
