Cold and rainy here, but the sun came out, so I walked in the nearby national park with 23 mph wind in my face. The best part: I watched three vultures sail like black kites over the fields, searching for a meal. I thought one might divebomb me when it sailed right over my head, but it must have had common sense and flew on.

Stressful day at work again but not to the point of tears this time.
Insane is doing the same thing over again expecting different results. Therefore. I'm experimenting on using the satiate scale to try and talk myself out of it. We'll see how it goes.9 -

Today, Rose and I hiked in a park that is the site of a former cattle ranch called the Spur Cross Ranch. Doesn’t that sound so cowboy?
We like to walk-&-gawk at the scenery.
Exercise: over 2.5 hours of walking but probably 45 of gawking so I call it 1 hour and 45 minutes of walking

@RangerRickL Fantastic photos. My favorite is the first one. It reminds me of a giant hand where the plant can't decide which way to point, or maybe it's trying to snap its fingers. An amazing landscape.

I often delete the long entries I begin entering... Wishing you guys all the best.
Here is a very old picture of my son and our corgi. Joyful moment...that was followed by many highs, lows, moments filled with joy...and others so overrun with pain that I banish those memories. As this pandemic situation rolls on...we will have many more joyful moments in our lives. I cling to the bright moments....and pray for more of those.

Better and better!
Exercise: Yes, 40 minute walk, in spite of the rain.
Calories: Yes, stayed under. Cooked healthy lunch. Salad, bread and philly light for dinner.
Tracking: Yes, logged everything
Feel better, in spite of the bad weather and spending long and frustrating hours on my partner's multiple problems. Most of them sorted now, so I hope I can now pay some attention to my own mental and physical wellbeing. Rain is set to stop today.8 -

My tablet's strava app makes this kind of a picture or graph.
Couldn't figure out how to make it into a pic that would port to internet.
So I took a picture of it with my phone.
But we are used to seeing all these "trajectory" pictures on tv that aren't all that uplifting.
But here is some trajectory that I can relate to.
I am beating my march trace handily.
That'd be some exercise calories. Too bad I am eating them all.

Today ended up being an unintentional pass day. Was 100 cal under at the end of dinner, so then broke out some chocolate chips and a glass of peach brandy. Oops...
Now the question is if I can make it 9 days without another pass...7 -

Same today. Was waaay below calories the past two days, but came in under goal today but by a few calories. I was hungry. What can I say?6 -
