Today's exercise was dropping off gift bags for three of my students. I walked about 35 min there and 35 back. Tomorrow will be more trips (the teachers split up the students so I have 12 total). It was good to see them and say hi and add at least a little bit of joy to what was a sad end of the school year for them.6 -

My boyfriend was like "go walk with me at the park, we'll take the dogs." So I'm like, "okay!". . We get up at 6am and proceeded to walk TO the park and back for a total of 4.6 miles. My poor doggy is not used to that long, PLUS it was already hot, so about 4 miles in, he was like "nope, I'm done!" and plopped down. So I gave him some water and my boyfriend carried him the rest of the way haha, it was so cute. He's a 10 lb Yorkie.
And yikes, my legs! I'm glad I did it though!8 -

Exercise - Yes - it was threatening to rain this morning, which was good motivation to get outside and run before the downpour started.

Calories - Yes! - this was a big accomplishment.
Today was a very meaningful goodbye party with very dear friends, and it was important to me to celebrate with typical party fare - popcorn, pizza, cake, wine. I ate all of those things and still stayed under budget! It took a lot of planning and it was certainly not the most nutritious day, but I appreciated these indulgences and the way I felt enjoying them together with friends. I also learned that, when paired with with planning and discipline (and cardio!), party food and drink are an option sometimes.10 -
