    Pass Day #3. Still (just barely!) in the Winners' Circle if tomorrow goes well.

    Exercise - Yes - 5.2 mile brisk walk
    Tracked - Yes
    Calories - No - went over with a lot of snacking plus meals, felt hungry all day and uncomfortably full at night. About 400 calories over goal (not a catastrophe for one day), but I don't like how I felt today because of my food choices.

    I didn't expect today to be a pass day. When my friends cancelled our lunch plans last-minute, I had a snack and thought I'd be ok, but that definitely didn't cut it! I kept snacking throughout the day, which used up all my calories, but by the end of the day I felt like I was starving! I craved a real meal - then after that real meal, I felt uncomfortably full. Yuck. I think nutritional needs, emotional eating, and the sensation of having eaten a meal vs. snack foods all played a role, but I'm not sure in what proportions. Regardless, I'm realizing how important my routine is for success.

    @jilliebean86, you had your mind set on that lunch out with your friends. After it was cancelled, no substitution was going to be acceptable unless it was very close to the real thing. Our minds know when we are being tricked!! I have learned this the hard way, too. It is better to try to fit in what you really want in the first place....because you are going to end up having it eventually!! Like you said though, 400 over is not a terrible day!!
