    I went to lunch today with coworker friends who had their last day. They got “let go” due to extreme debt by my employer from the pandemic. It was emotional and difficult but I somehow stayed on track. This was my first time out to a restaurant since maybe early February and I was impressed by the sanitary measures and social distancing by the restaurant.

    Today was a bit better than yesterday. I had a great breakfast took a long walk during my lunch break. I also had a pretty good lunch however after dinner I did have a little bit of homemade brownies that I made a double chocolate brownie. I tried to make a healthier version so it wasn’t too bad. And I also took a short evening walk.

    We’re going out of town to visit family for a few days, leaving tonight, so I may not be very active on here till after the weekend (and I’ll miss my weigh-in) but I’ll try to check in as much as possible!

    Me and the wife started last week to lower our carb intake. I still eat bread, she doesn't even do that anymore, but i am a big bread lover and home baker, so definatly not going to give that up.
    But my average last week was about 135 gram of carbs, where it used to be between 250-300 gram.

    Can't really tell yet if the lower weight is because of this, but could very well be.
    I have not cut down on my total calorie intake, still average of around 2000 a day

    Lots of take out this week, but always under my calorie goal except for Sunday/Monday. I trained a lot harder this week than usual with extra exercise even with my depression hitting hard this week. Mentally I wasn't in my best state of mind.
    However with these slightly disappointing results on the scale I am eager to get back on track again. I noticed what worked for me two weeks ago. A lot of vegetables & protein, less carbs make me lose weight consistently! So today we'll go to the grocery store to get all fresh whole foods. No more take out and/or junkfood!

    I was over target by about 450 calories today. I had a burger with a fried egg on it and fries for lunch. I don’t regret it. If I practice moderation tomorrow I should be fine.

    Today was a pretty good day, I had a really good breakfast a nutritious lunch and nutritious breakfast and snacks I was so proud of myself! Tomorrow is my way first way in day I am totally looking forward to it!! I’m hoping for a loss and I think that will be the case and then I will enjoy my Fourth of July weekend in peace.😁
