Today is National Independence Day in Kiribati, an island country in the Pacific, where I lived and worked for almost 2 years. I was really happy there. The country is at risk of disappearing under the rising waters, due to climate change. Happy Independence Day! I hope there will be a few more!11

I’m using my third pass day today. Lots of exercise, but lots of guessing on the logging. It’s the end of a week’s holiday for me and I’ve slipped into bad habits. Going to try to nip this one in the bud and get straight back onto the tighter logging tomorrow.7 -
Pass day 2 - logged but no exercise and over calories. We had a bbq and some friends round and I had a bit of everything6

I didn’t post yesterday as I was really annoyed with myself for taking a fourth pass day already. Just keep slipping in the evenings. But....today I was back on control. Had fun making up an exercise circuit with my son today. He is 10 and very fit. He loves football and has been using lockdown as a good time to work on his fitness, what a superstar. So I exercised, logged and came in under calories. If it wasn’t for UAC my pass days would be way worse and I wouldn’t have pulled myself back so thanks all for being there and pushing me on.10

Didn’t need the Pass Day after all. I got in extra walking before we went as we are dog-sitting my DYD’s dog for a week.

Hi. I’ve had this problem before. What helped me was a strict dinner cutoff. I try to eat by 6 pm or 7 pm and nothing after. One more tip is to brush and floss on days where you feel like you might cheat on late night snacks. Helps keep off the temptation. Even if you slip up just go for a late evening stroll and earn back the calories.

Did an hour long walk in the morning, then prelogged my day and realized in order to fit in pizza, a negroni, and tiramisu without a pass day I would need more exercise, so I did another hour walk in the evening.4 -

40 minute vinyasa yoga. While my appetite is finally back I still struggled to get to at least 1200cal by the end of the day but still made sure I did it so I'm not accidentally or purposely undereating. Tried out "Field Roast" brand vegan sausages, they're made with vital wheat gluten & potatoes and had lots of protein for 1 sausage! They're pretty decent. I am, however, not a fan of the vegan protein powder I purchased recently, strange texture & doesn't dissolve completely. I'll definitely be going back to whey protein once I finish this tub.3
