Test results came back negative. No covid around here. Will keep low until we clear the 14 days just incase its a false negative.
Haven't been 100% into weight loss the last few weeks but I am 100% back. Hoping to show a loss on Saturday. Fingers cross.
thank you0 -

@matthewsfive Glad the test was negative !
Speaking of Covid tests my daughters 2nd one came back negative, it was the rapid test though and apparently it has a poor accuracy rating, she won't get the results for the regular test for another few days, but she can't go back to work anyway because not enough of the kitchen staff has gotten their results back yet, so they are staying closed until they know everyone is negative... No one who works there actually had it, but alot of people who work on the square tested positive, and she rode to get tested with a girl who had it (1st test which was 8 days ago).
I did not do my evening exercise yesterday, but it's okay it was my off day and it was only a 20 min walk.. we had so many errands, and I had a horrible headache...
This morning I did not do my exercise either, my alarm went off at 5.30 I hit dismiss instead of snooze and slept till 8 when my husband text me to ask me how I was, and I was like oh shoot, ( I start work at 7.30) - so yeah I was an hour and a half late for work, but man I slept great last night, I really needed that... I will do the exercise when I get home...
My son leaves early tomorrow morning to drive from Maryland to North Dakota,he is taking my car to my youngest son who is stationed there. We tried to ship it, but no trucks go there without wanting a fortune... He is doing 12 hrs on Friday - Baltimore to Chicago, then Sat is Chicago to Fargo, ND, that's 8 hours, then Sunday is Fargo to Grand Forks, ND which is only 2 hours, but his flight leaves at 12 on Sunday to come back to Baltimore, which is 5 hours because it's 3 flights with layovers... He is a good brother, and I am so glad he is doing that, but as a mother I worry, it's a long drive...
thank you and positive thoughts coming your way for your daughter1 -
Today was physically exhausting. We got in a round of golf this morning early and then in the afternoon we tackled cleaning weeds out of a fenced compound that is attached to a lease space we own. It is vacant right now so it was really overgrown. My husband and I spent nearly 3 hours working together with various string trimmers to tame it. I want to get it leased out before winter so it needed some TLC. Although if I am honest it will be difficult in these times to lease it. So much uncertainty in the business community, totally understandable.
On a brighter note it was clear enough last night for us to see the comet finally. Very cool.4 -
@conleywoods congrats on reaching your milestone! You have such a confident smile 😃 in the photo!
@micki48 happy anniversary! It’s fun to see your corona phots I need to do that as well!1 -
@conleywoods Awesome work ! and can I just say you have amazing skin, so pretty !
Yesterday was good, got all my exercise done when I got home, was even able to have an ice cream sandwich for a snack...
The headaches are better, I have been doing a ton of neck exercises, so I'm pretty sure it's not migraines it's my neck issues resurfacing, which just means I need to do the exercises on a regular basis and use some of those gadgets I spend all that money on... I am the proud owner of a Teeter Hang up - I've had it for about 5 years, it has sat in the attic for 4.5 years... I am going to start using it this weekend...
Have a great weekend everyone !5 -

Happy GREEN Friday!
I'm impressed. Some serious green is on our sheet, and things are looking beautiful! There has been some good hard work happening.
I'm feeling rather in a slump today, so it helps to read all your good news and celebrations. I still have not heard back from the Canada Council for the Arts on the grant I applied for and I HATE being "on hold". I can't go ahead and plan, get started, and have fun creating something. And I'm still having pain and annoyance from the injury I got in April - sick of it. But it isn't going anywhere so I just have to pull up my socks (it's actually cool enough for socks here) and get on with it. I think I'm going to call my old trainer and go back to the physiotherapist to get some advice - my workouts have become very hit or miss because I am trying not to aggravate this large THING that hurts if I put any pressure on it, and I need to balance out the crooked way I have to sit. I have made some of my own workarounds, but I don't really know what I'm doing. Time for a pro. I know it will take a long time (up to 2 years!) to go away, so I had better just get on with it.
OK rant over.
I'll complete the full list of everyone's keep on track phrases and words today, and then we can explore another question. Feel free to throw one at the team if you have one!6 -
I over-ate by a significant amount yesterday, all the way to maintenance, and was down nearly a pound this morning so I guess the takeaway here is that once every now and then, it's not so bad to take a little break.
I'm very anemic and shaky today so I'm debating skipping strength stuff and just doing light cardio at the gym. But I miss my arm muscles. Maybe just nothing that requires standing or bending over. Bench press and pull ups shouldn't make me dizzy, theoretically.5 -
@conleywoods congrats!! You look amazing and so happy. So inspiring!
@jugar may I use my weight for today? I will be camping for the next few days and won't be around a scale or internet service until sometime next week.
If so my numbers are as follows:

CW 242.1
LTD 26.9
If not I'll post my weigh in some time next week.
Thanks for the ongoing motivation!5 -

@matthewsfive I'm so glad your test results came back negative! I know you and your family are relieved!
@eggfreak Super congrats on that huge loss this week! Great work!
So this is the week where the rubber meets the proverbial road. I'm back on contract now at work and sat in meetings (not virtual) all day, every day, Tuesday through Thursday. (I'm in Texas, where it is mandated by state law to wear a mask in public, so we were all masked and socially distant.) By yesterday my spine was hurting so bad! Up until yesterday, I had not realized how much my body had adjusted to 6 out of 7 days of intentional exercise every week. It's no longer accustomed to a sedentary lifestyle, thank God! I could not wait to workout last night when I got home!
Meanwhile, I'm in my 3rd week of my two eight week doctoral courses, and I've got LOTS of work to complete before 10:59 (CST) Sunday night!
Add to that....another school district emailed me last Sunday afternoon for a virtual interview the following day for their Dean of Instruction position. Thankfully, I'm in the habit of checking my junk mail daily because that's where the email invite went. I had to write an essay for the interview on Monday. Create a meeting agenda based on a data set they sent me for Tuesday's interview. On Tuesday before the interview, I had to watch a video and take notes, and then plan an instructional coaching conversation. During the actual second interview on Tuesday, I had to walk them through my agenda, explain my thinking, and engage them in a mock instructional coaching session based on the video. Yeah, that was a lot just to get a job! Thankfully, HR has hired me but it's not official until I'm placed at a campus. So I'm waiting to hear from one of the principals.
So that's been my insane week, but I'm still standing! Gotta run.....5
