The UAC invites new members each month, BUT, the real UAC is a forward looking commitment to change bad habits for healthy habits.
Yesterday, @cjane917 posted this message:
I am now down to just 0.4 lb away from my goal weight!
Even if I reach it in the next few days, I want to wait to switch my goal over to maintenance until after I return from vacation and re-weigh myself. I leave Saturday for about 10 days and will be eating more than normal and not tracking.
Exciting though to be so close! I've also been part of the UAC for almost a year now so it's great to see the consistent tracking and accountability pay off!
Congratulations!!15 -
@RangerRickL, I love the graphic and post. What a good reminder that the road to good health is not perfect and linear.8

Yes * 3. I'm realizing that I need to incorporate more stretch/joint relief exercises weekly. My body misses my regular yoga practice but I don't trust attending studio sessions just yet. Anywho, these stretch exercises are helping out, thank goodness9

Managed all three a really nice day walk of course with social distancing with friends I to don’t trust the gyms anymore. I keep working out at home much safer8

Another good quip RangerRickL! Congrats to @cjane917, enjoy your vacation!
Yes, yes & yes for me - was hungry today but managed to not overeat. Sometimes you just have to tell yourself "It's okay to be hungry". I did have a snack of grilled Ezekiel 4.9 toast topped with an ounce of avocado & 30 grams of sliced havarti. I also made a simple smoothie of 0% m.f. plain yogurt, 2.5 tbsp vanilla protein powder & water. This satiated me for a part of the day, which helped.8 -
Congrats to @cjane917!!!
Yes X 3 for me.6 -
Great reminder on the Journey Rick!
Yesx3 day. Stayed under calorie budget. snacked on cherries and raisins instead of dessert. Made tortilla hummus pizza for my toddler and me to cut calories but still eat a “pizza”. 30 mins morning walk with my toddler today + 30 mins Pilates+ 30 mins boot camp. I’m exhausted but happy 😃5 -
Day 23 - Yes x3
6 minute HIIT, 18 minute Strength, 25 minute Yoga, and then 45 minutes Walking
Got a lot done today it seems! I even spent the last hour on my feet cooking a super healthy but delicious meal Much better day! Exhausted, but feeling good.
I really love the image @RangerRickL posted for today! So true, setbacks are bound to happen but as long as you keep going you'll eventually make it.4 -

Thanks for the graphic Rick - I had a bump in the road yesterday so that was a good reminder. And congrats @cjane917 - you are an inspiration!
A pass day for me - not planned. Did my usual yoga and a dog walk in the morning even though my calf was still hurting... but my calf got really bad when I ran up the stairs in the afternoon (doorbell rang twice within ten minutes while I was speaking on a video call so was racing back to the call). I had my monthly chiropractor appointment after that though which I travel over an hour to and he worked on it - apparently the muscle was stuck in contraction which was why it was so painful. He managed to release it but OMG it was quite a painful process! Anyway. I’m now limping less but got to ditch the long walks for a few days. So feeling a bit sad about that. I was so tired after work / long journey / so much pain that I ate too much dinner and had two glasses of wine. Anyway, today is another day, I’m off to do my morning yoga which I’ll do for longer as I can’t do my dog walk afterwards!
Sorry for the long post but it does help to write it all down.4 -

I have had 4 passes so I wont meet the challenge. It has taught me a lot about my eating and exercise habits. I'm looking forward to trying again in August
Keep going everyone!
