Day: I’ve been binging for a long time, now I’m trying to get back under control.

I've had a very busy weekend and didn't have time for daily posts. My weekend was okay, calories a little over but nothing to throw my progress under a bus.

Exercise: kind of, I helped a friend all morning at his farm - my fitbit said I burned 1.1k calories
Day: Mentally still feeling weird. I feel like I can burst out crying at any given second. I woke up bright and early and left home at 6.30 to arrive at my friend's place at 7 to help him out with mucking the stables & to get some horsey love (I cuddled the horses shamelessly in between jobs). We were done around 11.30am so I went home to prepare a bath only to get some stomach aches and to notice... shark week has started (two days earlier so I wasn't fully prepared as my cycle is usually very consistent) blegh. The first & second day is always my worst. But sharkweek exhaustion + the continious heatwave (35°C or 96 Fahrenheit) made me nap all afternoon and I only woke up to prepare dinner for me and my partner lol. I will try to stay awake now but I still feel so very very exhausted.
Hope you are feeling better! I laughed when reading "shark week!" I've never heard it described like that before LOL.1 -
@skullsandskeletons Hahaha, yes I heard it a few years ago and it sticks with me now! I recently saw a (female) friend of mine post a message on facebook. A totally clueless man answered with "oh man, I LOVE sharkweek it's the best week of the year!" referring to shark week on national geographic (a week with tons of cinematics/documentaries about sharks) LOL! 😆

I fell off the rails last week. Things I re-learned:
1. Tracking is so important.
2. It is way too easy to fall into old habits even after learning and reinforcing new ones for 1.5 years.
3. Eating too much makes me feel sluggish and cranky.
4. Treats are fine but moderation is key.
5. Be kind to yourself.5 -
