@dsgoingtodoit "Recognizing the pattern ... I've been tempted in the past after a nice loss...to stop working out as much... stop tracking my food...let the stressors of the day - get in the way of better choices. "

Good for you to recognize that pattern -- I have the same kind of pattern. I get busy and stressed or both, and shove the calories and my health to the back burner (or out the window) -- which derails my health and leads to weight gain. We can retrain ourselves to care, to remember we're worth the effort. :)

Pass day X 3. Didn't exercise, and then went slightly over on calories. :|

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Boy, did i EVER! over 7000 steps before lunch (walked to a farther-away pharmacy for a non-perscription thing not at the closer chain) PLUS exergame for more than 12,000 steps all told (rained all late afternoon and eve, so no evening stroll )
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes and left LOTS of exercise calories uneaten
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?
    Yes indeedy-doo

    Tracked all - yup
I weighed the bag of mixed nuts to the gram then carried it to eat - usually I weigh a portion in advance- (a bad day - a friend died, on top of worrying I’ll never get to travel again + high heats/rate time of feeling fat) and then weighed the bag after eating. Tracked over 1,000 cals of unsalted nuts, eaten one at a time. Looked at numbers- realized I had some calories left & would have more if I walked. Which I did. Ate modestly a light supper. Pass Day avoided. Spirits elevated the minute I got outside the front door.

My mantra was: food won’t fix it. So I didn’t go over calories, I didn’t eat truly “bad” food. And I didn’t really “let loose” with the food. I paid attention.

Now I know to recite: food won’t fix it, but walking will!!
    Calories under -147
Exercised YES! 67 min fast walk after dark

@MadisonMolly2017 "eaten one at a time." That is the way that I need to eat popcorn.

@idmalone You can post late. Lots of team members do. I go back and read their posts once they have posted. Don't worry that you have to take a pass for posting late
