In addition, there are many dedicated UAC team members who have been actively posting throughout the month of September. The UAC is about developing healthy habits and we salute those who exemplify a Champion's determination. I've reviewed all of the posts for the last few days of the month and here are our Ultimate Accountability Champions who have stayed connected with the team...

This literally made my day! Such a lovely group to be part of.
Exercise: yes, 25 mins walk
Tracking: yes
Calories: yes

3 checks today. So happy to be part of this group.12
-
Yes for all three! Getting my steps in at work. Planned out my meals for the day and not veering off my plan.

Crazy busy day! Car service so I walked from the garage to work and back plus an hour of Jiu Jitsu class in the evening to more than meet my exercise goal. In addition a full day of work which involved running between snake park and oceanarium too many times to count. We open to the public on Monday so lots to get done and my colleague fell ill today (not COVID but still means I have to cover her duties as well as mine). Our little stranded seal puppy was the start today though as she started taking whole fish without any effort at all. We put the fish in the water to encourage them to start playing with it while we tube them fish formula but she just swallowed it. I put another one in the water and she did the same so I offered her one by hand like we do with the tube and she took it and swallowed.
This was in contrast to the snake feeds where one of them (non venomous rat snake) got confused between my finger and the mouse. Painful and lots of blood but mostly just scratches all around my finger, so nothing serious.
All food logged with about 200 to spare and good healthy choices today. Great start to the month.12 -
@Dory_42
"Painful and lots of blood...."
I/we love you and your incredibly interesting life!!!

3xyes. My food was pretty rubbish so I need to eat better quality stuff. My exercise was a nice meandering short hike in what turned out to be a really warm day.8

Congratulations to the winners!! How lovely to see a Champion list too, that's awesome! Thanks Ranger Rick
Yes x 3 for Thursday! Prelogging dinner to keep me honest today. I did track everything, did a 25 min dog walk and have an hour if tennis planned layer today. Great way to start the month.
I've been much more consistent with workouts in September, which was a goal. For October I wanna be even more consistent with protein intake. If weather cools I'll have more workout time too.8 -
I love that everyone is off to such a good start!
Yes x 3
Exercise was day 2/28 of my HIIT challenge 36 min., 26 min intense yin yoga, followed by some foam rolling cause I was soooo sore.
I lost 4 lbs last month, but I am going to challenge my self to lose at least 5 this month, so I set up some goals for myself, I thought I would share to keep myself accountable:
1. Do more intense cardio. I did mostly yoga last month, adding some HIIT will hopefully burn more of
my fluff off
2. Eat more veggies. I lost the most weight while doing the 50/50 plate challenge (fill your plate with
50% veggies) I am going to aim for this on most meals.
3. Drink more water...cause hydration!
4. Don't eat back my exercise calories. I only dipped into my exercise calories twice
last month, so this should be an easy one.

Hello everyone! AND....we're off! Off to a great start this month.
Had a lovely orange tint around the moon this morning as we walked...October appropriate indeed!
Goal is to use advice from another group member to really kickstart my weightloss. 25ish pounds lost this year... aiming for 15 more by EOY. Adding weights back in, drinking lots of water, aiming for around 16 cups...avg is about 10 now - so there ya go; walking partner and I plan to add more intervals; personal goal to do some planks and pushups daily; planning to do a "miles completed win prizes as part of his homeschooling(like, good stuff...lol)" chart for my 14 yr old ...stuff he'll need for high school...but he'll think it's fun...hopefully...we'll see. Pet sitting is picking up a tad...(my business) so I'm praising God for that...and that also means that I have to be diligent about workout time. I'm dealing with some mystery bloodwork issue and a pain that shouldn't be there...so I'll be addressing that this month with a couple of specialists. SO GLAD that I have all of my food diary and workout information to share with them. No mysteries about those matters!7 -

Ha! After writing a book up there....I forgot to say:
Yes, x's 3; exercise was a long walk this morning and a short walk with doggos - going to do planks and pushups now and watch some tv with 14 yr old who is hitting the treadmill.
