Last month, I played hookie during a two week road trip to Yellowstone Park. My habits must be working because I lost weight during that vacation.
Today:
Exercise: I'm a little under the weather so 30 minutes of treadmill walking
Calories; under my limit
Tracking: good7 -
Great job to all who finished in the Winner’s Circle and all who kept coming back regardless! Thank you Ranger Rick for keeping this going!

I have to say, I “fell off the wagon” one day and didn’t even track AT ALL, but going WAY over calories. If it hadn’t been for this challenge, I’m pretty sure one day would’ve turned in to 2 and then 3 and on it would go!
So it’s a very worthwhile challenge!9 -
I started last week tracking EVERYTHING, weighing, measuring, and exercising to get me geared up for this month. My start weight last week was 149 and I am 5'2 ( 51yrs old)
Got on scale today to start the challenge and I was 143. I couldn't believe a 6 pound weight loss! It really does work! I ate much healthier, drank all my water, and added more protein, good fat, and less bad carbs. I won't weigh myself until end of the challenge, but am excited to be on this journey with you all. I have read all your posts and taken quite a few suggestions from others...thank you!
Date. 10/01

Ok....I thought this would be easy but it was not!
Exercise: 15 min Pilates. 10 min dog walk
Stayed in my calories.
Did track everything.
It was hard exercising at 8:45 at night just because I didn’t want to take a pass the very first day. I have especially been thinking about one of the comments that staying to the calories and not weighing every day might be very beneficial to getting some better habits. Thanks for your encouragement....been a crazy day!9 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes, many hours of disinfecting the public areas of my workplace due to the virus, plus slow walking, plus carrying some heavy boxes of supplies for myself (which I don't have to do, but did anyway for upper body exercise)

Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? yes6 -

@ginadomaszewicz @heidipatterson100 congrats to both of you on the weight loss!
@clutterqueen congrats on getting past that trap -- I've also found the UAC and MFP very helpful to get past that very same trap5 -

Hello,
I slept badly (remember me from August? 😃), but had a full day yesterday and biked around for over 1,5 hrs. Did not track 🚴♀️ rigurously, but tracked all food and had to play a bit with my exercise cals, to stay on plus 🤭.
In short, one day down 🙌4 -

Congratulations to all who made the coveted winner’s circle and to all who kept on moving forward despite not qualifying!
I found September quite difficult but tried to remain mindful about where I stood. In the past, I would have just folded. This group really does keep me accountable and I thank everyone. Your posts are inspiring and I read them all.
I’ve stayed within a 5 pound range for the last 4 months so I’m happy about that but I could see the scale not going up and down during the last month and holding steady at the higher end. Take out has been my downfall. I plan on getting to the grocery store and taking back my control.
