Was a very busy day cleaning house, laundry, grocery shopping, and other errands. I never thought I would get my treadmill in tonight, but I did it! Not 2 hours like last few days, but every day can't be a 2 hour workout! Going with my daughter tomorrow to help her register for her baby shower. I already cut up veggies and some fruit to bring with so I don't get extremely hungry while out and blow it! I am also having a banana and 2 large hard boiled eggs in the morning.8 -
Yes x 3 for Saturday and Friday too. I even made myself do a boot camp workout before I started my day cause I knew it would be busy. Normally I can't pull that off on a Saturday so I'll take it!7

@alligatorob Sorry to hear about your upcoming procedure - I completely understand the anxiety but for what it's worth I've known others have similar surgery and although the recovery can be uncomfortable I think it's usually fairly straightforward. I say this not to diminish your concerns, only to alleviate worries if I can!
@MaltedTea is so right about being able to share - and I'd also take her advise about discussing exercises you can do with your medical team, if you haven't already.

Prostate illnesses, from mild to very serious, are extremely common in American men -- my late husband dealt with it for 13 years. It's extremely important to take care of yourself. I give you a giant thumbs up for seeing your medical team and making arrangements to improve your health. You're making a wise decision so you can enjoy your life.

@alligatorob - I agree with everything already said. Please don’t be embarrassed. There is no need. You are correct that this is a community of caring people who want to cheer one another on and be supportive. I am sorry you have to go through this but we will all be here during your rehab and then cheer you on when you are cleared to get back to business.1

Slept well again, worked out (45 min 🚴♀️ + 45 min kickboxing HasFit workout 🤼♂️) and ate accordingly 🙈, but in range. Actually, my plan was to not eat all calories back, so I need to improve at this...

First of all - I'm taking a pass day.
Tracked, exercised but I am over on calories due to an evening dinner with family that I didn't prepare. Hormones are not helping I might add.... lol Did refuse dessert...so - that's a plus! ;D
alligatorbob - I'm going to be praying for you as you take care of your health. My ex-husband had to have prostate stone removal at a very young age. He too was embarrassed....but it was necessary...and of course he was glad that he got it taken care of. You will be winning in a different way for a short while. Your body is going to be working hard to heal....and your dedication to your health is going to pay off. Wishing you peace and praying for you to rest well for your surgery. In addition, you might talk to your physician when you have the catheter removed about when you are allowed to resume low impact exercise. For my ex and another friend of mine, they were able to resume walking as soon as they were off of pain killers and as long as blood pressure was normal, no blood in the urine etc.4 -
