This is my favorite photo taken during our Yellowstone Park trip. An American bison bull in the foreground and a geyser in the background.28 -
Able to get back to UAC today (Community side was blocked yesterday) All caught up on my entries and I hope any other people with the same issue are also able to break back in today!
Love the picture, @RangerRickL10 -

I think it's my favorite picture too. I love the contrast of the steam and clouds.
I hope everyone is having or had a great day!10 -
Awesome photo.
Despite feeling exhausted and low on energy for some reason it ended up being a good day. Early morning swim and beach walk then two morning naps (nothing seemed to break the tiredness). I thought my snacks had pushed me over my limit but when I logged them it was on budget. And then a healthy lunch and double Jiu Jitsu. Had a great time there and of course never felt tired there! Nothing energises me like being on the mat. Got a couple of compliments about my Jiu Jitsu. Firstly I was chatting to a couple of parents and one commented on how good a coach I was. I do enjoy teaching both the kids and the lower belts so that was nice to hear. Then at the end of adult class had a couple of tough rounds with guys who are above me in our belt level and stronger. I handled myself well with them and coach commented on it. You don’t get compliments from him easily so that really made my day.
Had some fun with coach’s son on the mat between class as well. Gotta love that boy!
To summarise, I have still only used 1 pass day.15 -
Love the pictures @RangerRickL !
Missed my morning workout today, and because of an after-work event my evening walk was also shorter than planned. It's been quite a stressful return to work and I'm already feeling as if I didn't have any time off at all - I'm grateful to have a job in the current climate but the situation is not very beneficial to my health! Going to start incorporating meditation into my evening routine again, and up the yoga.
Having said all that - it's nonetheless a yes X 3 again for me today ☺️12 -

@ RangerRickL ..Love seeing the beautiful photos!
I was so happy to get myself out of bed this morning to do my workout! I find I do better with my day if I start out exercising and then do another workout either before dinner or after. I liked burning 400 calories off before I even ate my breakfast and then doing another one and burning off half of my dinner. Some days I feel so tired and don't get up to exercise first thing and those days I usually go through day more tired! The end of the day walk I enjoy because it helps de-stress after a hard day at work. Its beautiful out today. Take a walk outside and enjoy because I think in Illinois this is the last week of warm weather. Hope everyone is having a great day!11 -
I was going to use a pass, but couldnt sleep, so worked out and evened it out. Strange, but it didnt feel like I ate much today, or not as hungry as I got. Maybe it was so much just because it was a long day... In short:
30 min 🚴♀️ + 30 min 💃 HIIT + some 🚶♀️
logged it all and ended on plus
There's a 🥐 in my drawer, waiting patiently for a second day now. It might not even be eatable tomorrow 😀.12 -

Exercise: Quick 1 mile jog, 3 hill sprints, 45 min HITT, 6 min yoga for a cool down, then a nice evening hike with my oldest son. We had some really nice chats.
Calories were right where I wanted them to be, so it was a good day.
I am loving the Yellowstone pics!7 -
Hello everyone! Yes x's 3 for today. 2/3 pass days used to date
a - Victorious 55, thank you! I was happy that they said no to a couple of scary things that friends said it might be. However, they are testing for something I hope is not there...but won't get results for 10 days. I will update when I know more. Until then, so happy I've been focusing on good health this year.
b - Rick - that is a wonderful shot...just what an interesting image - thank you for sharing
c - a pic from RMNP in Co. about 2 yrs ago/date on pic is wrong

An hour swim and an hour walk! I did feel like I ate a lot today but still under calories and every crunchy snack recorded...
@BMcC9 thanks for the Halloween nod! It’s my favorite holiday... love the creativity, candy and scare factor! Especially love putting together costumes... the pic below is from a Halloween costume contest at Hersheypark - to say we pandered to the brand is putting it mildly - and we did win 😁 with twisty pieces and magnets it transformed in about 30 seconds: Chocotron!

✅✅✅ love that picture of the bison, great eye!
Nsv report: during my Trader Joe’s trip today, I left with no chips or popcorn (trigger, pleasure foods for me). Felt so victorious 💪🏿👑 one day at a time

Yes, yes, and yes. Though the exercise was just lawn mowing and a few yard things I need to get done before surgery.
Surgery is early tomorrow, and I will not be able to exercise for a while, and may not be able to post for a few days. So no winner's circle, but I will do my best, and post here when I can.11 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? YES | PRE-WORK TWERK BREAK 🍑 (18), Stair run (10), Physical Assessment (45) TOTAL: 88 min
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? YES | Base + 183?? exercise calories
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? YES
---|---|---|---
I've eaten 300 over my base calories, however...
I did a physical assessment at a semi-private gym with my son this evening because bonding while sweating is fun. We didn't have our phones on us so who knows how many calories it came up to? I'm confident that my 45-min was more than 120 calories (besides, I also walked 8k+ steps today). All I remember is that I had 11 minutes on the elliptical, 3 minutes worth of step-ups, a bunch of flexibility movements, pushups, sit-ups, etc.
All that to be told I'm of "average health" 😐 I need to get to "Beast Mode."
Speaking of beasts, great shot there @RangerRickL!7 -

day 7
yes x 3
Got up before light drove up to my mountain spot.
Got there before sunrise but it was light.
Bit cold.
Climbed on blacktop for a couple of hours before people started driving around.
Climbing is some good exercise calories. According to Strava 1500. I think that is a bit overestimated.
But a strong climb up in 3rd gear. PR'd a segment from 10,000 to the top.
Take care of Buddy tomorrow but probably climb again on Friday.
