Chris I am with you. While I don't hate them I would not want them in my home. And with what you had to go through I probably would hate them also. The poop is not the worst. It is the pee! And tearing up things. Nasty little rodents. Glad the place was torn down!

Paula I am really glad black widows don't normally like to be indoors. They are rather pretty, and I would hate to have to kill them.

Kathy I am with everyone else. You are rocking it!

Karen I have a love hate relationship with my fitbit. It does not always give me steps when I am moving!

I did more push-ups yesterday and jumping jacks, planks, punches, squats, lunges, you get the idea. Going to pay for it today.

    Yeah, me too, Shelley.

Nothing today except Ronan and Bean. Traded our morning walk to tomorrow which is normally our rest day.

I did cleaning. Reached the last corner of the house where things were stored from our emergency move 3-1/2 years ago. Everything is now officially put away. It is a milestone...

    Shelley,

This is serious. Now that I'm retired, I'm gonna be free as a bird and hitting the open road under the influence of coffee and loud music. It will be heavenly visiting friends and seeing the world. So if you want to pencil me in when Covid ends, it'd be so cool. Hanging out with you would be a blast! Think of all the trouble we could get into!!

I haven’t been feeling well the last 3 days. Having side and back pain bad enough to make a doctor’s appointment. Nothing diagnosed and the pain has subsided and starting to fell better so I will get back to it today. Just one if those things I guess. I must finish this challenge! :)

Kathy, Glad the pain subsided. Love your perseverance!

Chris, Sounds totally fun! So young at heart to be so playful!!

I'm going to break down boxes today. I'd saved them up in case anyone needed them for packing for the evacuations. But it's slowly feeling more comfortable to unpack and settle back in; even though we haven't had any rains yet, and it's very hot outside. 92 degrees at the coast yesterday - usually the ocean keeps us cool!

Yeah, Paula, we have a pretty good time when we walk.

We got 4.15 miles done in 81 mins! Yeah! It was pretty nice this morning. Got hot this afternoon...91 degrees at 4:00. It's supposed to get cooler during the week. We'll see.

My parents and I walked Sunday morning separately together. My mom completed 1.6 miles and my dad 2 miles. Not bad for 84 & 85 year olds. I walked for 3.82 miles in 63 minutes and now have a total of 32.84 with 2.16 to go to complete the Breast Cancer Challenge. Not sure if I’m losing but my my cloths are definitely looser and my BG levels are much better.

You ladies are killing it as usual. Going to try and finish strong this month. I went to the doctor This week and his sending me for a scan this Friday to check my gall bladder. Just a precaution because everything else came back normal.

    Have a great week!

Paula it would be neat for sure. We could have lots of fun. I know some folks at the jail. We would get VIP treatment for sure. I can't believe you are retired. And Kathy is retired. And Chris started this trend. Must be my turn.

    Shelley,
I offer to visit and you offer jail? Interesting... Does that mean we'd have a really really good time? [As in; a good friend will bail you out; but a best friend will be sitting next to you.]
You sound like trouble to me, girl. Loving it!!
Are you starting to think about retirement? Is Rocky? I'm broke but less stressed. It's a trade-off.

Walked 65 minutes - 3.21 miles I completed the 35 mile Breast Cancer Challenge and met my fundraising goal of $300. Of course I will continue walking through the end of October to continue to raise awareness and walk others. I want to hit 50 miles!

67 minute walk 3.20 miles this morning. Enjoyed two rest days. My parents are settled so I spent those days with Ron. We needed the staycation together.

Paula we would have a blast! I have a friend who would bail us out if we had to much fun. Wink wink. Rocky retired 3 years ago. I have 4. And yes it can be a trade off financially. We did put away for it though. Fortunately we both have pensions also. Retirement is my dream for now.

Kathy I am so proud to know you. What a great reason to walk. I ran for special Olympics once. I am sure you will make 50 miles. They do a polar bear jump here for special Olympics also. Boy did I freeze! How crazy was I to jump into a swimming pool in winter? And I know your patents enjoyed the stay action also.

Chris I want that job of doing nothing. Where do I sign up?

Working out a little each day.
