Does anyone count their steps by walking in place at home? If so, what device do you use to count your steps such as when watching a video that walks a mile in place? I'm not sure if this counts as "steps"...can someone explain? Thanks1

Does anyone count their steps by walking in place at home? If so, what device do you use to count your steps such as when watching a video that walks a mile in place? I'm not sure if this counts as "steps"...can someone explain? Thanks
Any activity where you're walking counts as steps...on machines, biking, rowing, eliptical, treadmill also counts..I wear a fitbit and as long as you're swinging your arms as you walk, it will catch those steps...the mile markers don't matter much as far as your stepping. I do a lot of walking in place, while watching tv just to keep active and avoid sitting.

To send someone a private message, you go back to your Home page in MFP and click on Mail at the top, then put in their userid and compose your message. It's a little bit wonky, so it seems to make a difference as to whether a person's userid has capital or lower case letters. Sometimes they go through, sometimes they don't.
