HOW IT ALL WORKS:
Every challenger weighs in on their chosen day, every week without fail! At the end of each week, the tallies are done to determine the team and individuals with the most weight lost. The best losers are announced with full fanfare every Sunday. The team competition is all in good spirits - may the most losing win!
We also track those small, steady losses with the Green Week count. If you lose, however small an amount, it counts for 1 week in the green. The total will be by month, and cumulative - so you can really rack them up and get to your goal even if you never hit the top of the leaderboard.
In an effort to recognize accomplishments, we are using an optional addition to the weigh in format called LOSS TO DATE or LTD. Please just leave this new line off if you do not want to participate. Here is the new format:
Username
Weigh In Day
PW (Previous Weight):
CW (Current Weight):
LTD (Loss to Date): your TOTAL loss since your highest weight ever
If you need a week off, a break, a change of weigh-in day - just ask your Captains here on your team chat page. If you take a break, you are moved to the Support Team. If you miss two weigh-ins in a row without asking for a break, you will be dropped from the team, so be sure to ask if you are travelling, sick, or just needing some time off. You can remain on the Support Team for as long as you need to. You still participate in the discussions and weigh in if you want to, but your weigh-ins will not be counted on the weekly tally.
Once you reach your goal weight, you join the Goal Zone! After hitting your goal, you need support to stay there, and you can help your teammates join you. You must continue to weigh in every week, and if you have 2 weeks above your self-defined goal zone, you go back to the regular team to lose that amount before it builds up. You will have a chance to hone those maintenance skills and stick with your team!
In addition to your own team, there are F2F Full Group CHALLENGES. You can do all or none - it's up to you. Participating adds a lot to your success, so we hope to see you there often! These can involve anything fitness, health, or nutrition - and they’ll get you moving, thinking, and learning about this journey. Check the Announcements section for full group challenges.
Let’s show our fellow challengers some F2F love! Introduce yourselves right away, and let the new month begin!!

Good Morning and Happy November. Im so glad that October is over! This hasn’t been the best year and October was the worst. So I’m looking forward to a new month and better days.
I guess I’m the first weigh in for a November. This is my first week doing IF. I know every week won’t be this good, but I’m thrilled with the results so far.

Welcome to November guys!! Looking forward to hearing from each of you and supporting you through the month.
Taking sign ups for the Step Challenge for the month...it doesn't roll over automatically because I need your new daily step goal, so let me know if you want to participate.

The Green Challenge Percentage of people who lost weight this week. No matter how small the loss the weights are recorded in green. Remember that even if your team doesn’t rank the highest in weight loss for the week you can still be the Green Percentage winner by having the most losses in your team! So keep it up!!

Hi Trimstones..Happy November...I have one more joining you this month ..Please welcome @vjsky3

Hello! I am new to the team and so excited to be here! I am currently 186 lbs. My highest was just about 200 lbs- the lowest 130 (I am 5'2-so have a lot to lose!). Once I got my weight down, I was diagnosed with an illness that put me onto high doses of steroids ....well...enough said . This past spring I started seeing a new doctor and was doing great- but the pandemic hit -and I found myself eating and drinking too much! I am also a high school teacher- so have been sitting in front of the computer more than usual . I am hoping to get back on track! I hope I can contribute to our weight loss numbers! Thanks again for allowing me to be apart of the team!3

Hi @vjsky and welcome to our team! I'm Jessica, one of your two captains; the other being @mulecanter . On behalf of all of us on the team, we're glad you're here. We look forward to helping you meet your goals!
Take a minute and read back through the thread pages for November just to get acquainted with everyone and if you have any questions, please let me know.
If you'd like to sign up for the step challenge, please let me know your daily steps goal and I'll get you signed up. You can find the step challenge chart directly below the weigh in chart off the main Fat2Fit page. Every few days, just send a message to this chat thread with the dates and steps (you'll see others posting theirs as well) and I'll get them recorded.
Again welcome!

Greeting Trimstones - I’ll be honest, last week wasn’t my best week and I wasn’t focusing on the challenge - not sure if I am supposed to have logged my steps starting on a certain date. I can report back with steps.

Welcome new Trimstoners. You are here just in time to enter the holiday season danger zone. I get weak in the knees for turkey dinners (gravy is on the food pyramid right?). As a countermeasure I'm doing some intermittent fasting and swearing allegiance to chicken and broccoli. I'm still swimming in my gym's outdoor pool if you can believe it. The hardest part is getting in. For those outside the US you may or may not know our election day is tomorrow. I'm soooooo ready for it to be over. Let's hope everyone keeps their head on straight and not act the fool if the result isn't to their liking. Make sure you vote and avoid empty carbs.3 -
Sorry, missed yesterday's weigh in. Too late but PW 188.5/CW 188.0.
There, got it in, kind of.

Good luck everyone! As to me, I was doing great at exercise, for me upto about 450 calories a day burned, sometimes 550, but now I'm sick and not working out. I hope to get better soon and back to working out!
I hope everyone has a good November.2 -

Hi Jessica,
I would like to do the step challenge - but my pedometer is not adjusted correctly I don't think. It may be a little off. My pedometer is new and it seems to be stuck where I can't adjust the strides so I may have to buy a new one.
Should I just start with what I have and over the next few days try to get my pedometer to be accurate?
Thanks!

I was in a month long competition, to lose inches, and I made it, but man, I could have done so much better if I would have quit eating, ugh.
We are going out of town in 12 day days for mine and 2 of my kids birthdays. just for something to do, so Im am making it my goal to stick to my diet for the next 12 days until we go, trying to go back to starting small, shortening my goals in hopes I can stick to them. I still havent missed a workout in 34 days, and dont plan on stopping anytime soon, so at least i have that part down.3
