What is happening to time........
I've been saying that I guess weight doesn't exactly matter at this time but staying as healthy as you can does, it seems however that increasingly it's being found that being not too heavy improves risk against many diseases including this virus so maybe it continues to be important. Additionally, for many of us, Keto helps us feel good and that can't be a disadvantage at any time.
Feel very welcome to join, we usually post our weigh Sundays and use the 'Keto Monthly Challenge Spreadsheet' also in 'Announcements' to track weight.
You can post your weight here and also in the Keto Monthly Challenge Spreadsheet which Stormy updates. If you want to post comments etc please use this thread rather than the Spreadsheet.

My goal for this month is to keep on track. I am going to not worry about ONE Thanksgiving meal*! ONE!!!!! However, I am going to make myself keto desserts, because I know that sugars are the most troublesome for my body.
Also, this month I have started weighing/measuring food again, and making sure to get that water in. I feel like I am keeping portions straight, but I just don't know if my inner fat kid is being honest. Anyone else struggle with the inner fat kid? That part of your brain that tries to justify the not so great food choices?3 -

Happy to be down a little again, but honestly kind of frustrated. Anyone here been at this a long time? Been on keto since February, and was pretty consistently losing around 8ish pounds a month. The last couple months, the loss has been painfully slow. Is this just how it goes? Like any other weight loss thing, the closer you get the slower it comes off?3 -

11/10: 175.6:|Walked today! Doing the intermittent fasting again today & Going to stay OT.
11/11: 173.8 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻🥰 Doing the HAPPY DANCE! I’m very please with myself for sticking with it! I’ve got a bit to go for my goal weight but I’m going in the right direction!
11/12: 175 , I guess it all depends on if you've had a BM or not. Oh well, will keep working to get to my goal. It is hard for me to weight every day just because of the roller coaster effect it has on my weight and mind.
11/13: Didn’t weigh myself today, totally forgot about it. Woke up late & in a hurry to get to work. It was a true Friday the 13th for me😳.
11/14: Not going to weight today either! I’m going to fast today, get house work, laundry, grocery shopping & a few other things done today so I can totally relax tomorrow!
Week 2 loss: .6# Total 7# WTH!🤬. Maybe it’s the eating after 7pm. I don’t know. Will be more diligent this week & do better with my food choices. Going to meal prep for the week. It could also be the extra steps I got in yesterday, maybe I won’t walk on the day before WI. 🤨😒🤬

I’ve been on this journey since 12:25/2019. I was steadily losing but I was also dairy free and I didn’t use any sugar substitutes. I added some SF treats in here and ther and cream in my coffee and my weight loss slowed down. I’m still losing but it’s more like 3 lbs a month. I’m fine with it. Do I wish it was faster, of course but I also know it’s a WOE that I will always do so the wt loss is just a wonderful side effect. Good luck!2

Hi Sarag, every now and then I need to do something different to shake up the routine and break the plateau.
Exercise - double my exercise sessions during one week in every month.
Food - have a side of cooked mushrooms with double (heavy) cream & mustard with either lunch or dinner every day for 1 week in every month. A book I read years ago called this the 'magic whoosh. Happens to be my happy food but if your not a fan of mushrooms, try to find something else to cream. 😁

Thank you! I need these reminders. And, you’re absolutely right! This is a lifestyle, not a quick fix. I need to make this a mantra lol. I have been overweight my entire life. I have always been a quick fix, and fad dieter. Of course none of that worked long term. This is the first time in my 42 years that I have gone almost an entire year heading in the right direction, in a healthy way. Slow and steady, and staying the course!!0 -
