So, I used all my pass days. We had a curfew starting from Friday evening to Monday 5 am because of increasing virus cases. I need to plan my weekends (meal and exercise wise)well according to the curfew as we will continue to have weekend curfews for a while.6 -

💡 What a great insight, @karenesg: you can use up all your pass days (plus some) yet still see progress while participating in UAC throughout the month.

What do you do to encourage yourself to get enough sleep?
I know that without enough sleep, I will spend the day fighting cravings and will have trouble staying focused on the things that I need to accomplish. I have learned to keep my room dark and cooler at night. I also try to make sure that I have some quiet time to wind down and relax a bit before trying to sleep. I also like essential oil scents and if all else fails the occasional Benadryl tablet and/or low dose melatonin. For me, a good night’s sleep, has been the most important part in my efforts to lose weight and to be able to make healthy lifestyle choices during the day.6 -

What do you do to encourage yourself to get enough sleep?
I tracked my sleep for several weeks & found I need 7 hours - on average - and I get that. This made me worry less on those nights when I’m full of energy - like last night LOL
My meds create a bit of anxiety which can cause me to go into worry as I slow down, lying in bed.
So, I put on a guided meditation... and that voice drives the worrying thoughts out & I am usually asleep in 3-5 mins
Recently it’s been tougher, so I cut out my decaf coffee altogether & all chocolate after 3 pm.
And last night I had a breakthrough... I have finished a 40 day Transformation mindfulness course on Insight timer by David Ji that is mantra based. So I tried one that I had chanted on my walk Saturday as I tried to fall asleep. But I started worrying about a bunch of important financial & house tasks.. and for the first time, I told myself: “You have made good progress on all of these (true), this is just an effect of your meds (true), and tomorrow you can do more on the tasks! Good work, now enjoy your rest! I took 3 deep breaths. And in my mind began “Om Ananda Ritam)...
Slept!!!!
Until my cat woke me 3 different times. Each time 3 deep breaths Om Ananda Ritam. Slept!!!!! Each time!!
PS Moving cat out of bedroom. We weren’t because she is so old, but our health & sleep are too important.7 -

I did okay with regular food but lost count on how many Hershey kisses I popped over the course of the say should’ve sent them home with my daughter!!
As far as sleep goes I shut down like a computer - sleep is only an issue in that my cats sporadically wake me overnight for food - if it was just me I’d ignore them but they know my weakness and rattle things to wake the beau up - it’s diabolical!! I wake up so he can sleep - but I head to bed early because I wake up early to hit the pool or pavement before everyone else.

Looks like I habe posted wrongly the 6th in Dec 5. Sat. was a good day, calories in vs out tight, but okay. A nice family walk (probably 45min) and a LIT 45min workout rounded the day.4
