Hello - starting again

Hello - my name is Cindy and I live in the Seattle area. I’ve been using MyFitnessPal for several years to help me track my calories and activities. I’ve always lost weight (and regained it) on my own. This is my first time joining a support group. My yoga studio and gym are closed. I’m feeling a bit isolated, so I’m hoping this group might help motivate me. Cheers everyone.

    It's great to meet you, Cindy.

    I am also new to the group and to MFP. I have been overweight since infancy, and have lost weight on my own and on occasion, through Weight Watchers. I have always regained it though, and now my health is in jeopardy. It's been fun and easy to use the tracking tool in MFP, and this encourages me. This group is filled with smart and supportive members.

    Are you a hula dancer? If so, I'd love to know more about it! I only dance when no one's looking! :D

    Hi Carol! Yes, I’ve been dancing hula since I was 5 years old. I grew up in CA and Hawaii where there are lots of hula instructors.

    It looks like you’ve been rocking it on the MFP app the past several days. Keep it up! I used to be with WW too. That is a great program. I may rejoin it if I can’t make this work for me. Stay safe!

    Hi! I do yoga too. I'm doing the latest 30 day yoga program with adriene- just finished day 1! Do you do any online yoga?
