Paula - I didn't realize you and Chris are neighbors...how cool! Knees are fickle things aren't they? There was that song lyric...something like "you don't respect your knees until you lose them"....isn't that the truth!" Great job persevering with the weights.....!

    Karen

Karen those 2 were even able to share a lunch together once. So jealous!

Paula weight lifting is the best for aging bones. It is a shame that so many people here won't take the vaccine. But then it leaves more for the next group! Keep lifting those weights. It will make carrying Patch cat easily. And kitty's food.

Went for a 35 brisk walk to the corner store to get Megamillions tickets. $700,000,000!

    Can you imagine?

Chris you shame me. Of course a lunch in an exotic place would be infinitely better with all of us than some silly Bow flex. Oprah would give us all a Bow flex!

NO, no no, Shelley...no shaming here...my next request was to get my garage cleaned out and get a new gym set up including a brand new Dual Cable Crossover machine...wonder if Oprah has any in her exercise machine warehouse.

Is Karen trying to change the subject? Why is she posting workouts on a workout challenge thread? I thought we were discussing how to spend her lottery winnings... >:)

So true Paula. I do believe you are correct. She is so silly thinking she can get away with that. And after all the thought Chris has put into her wants! Muahaha

Karen I might have to try that one. I ended up taking the weekend off. I played online with my daughter.

    HI ladies,

I’m back. Took a few days off because of lower back pain and left knee pain. Getting back today but taking it slow. You all have been amazing.

My father, bff and I are also buying lottery tickets. If we win I will definitely arrange a beach vacation for us to all finally meet. šŸ¤žšŸ¾šŸ¤žšŸ¾šŸ¤žšŸ¾

Since international travel is way too much trouble right now, how about the Florida Keys. I know a wonderful resort with gorgeous condos. We would have so much fun!!!

Kathy, I'll start packing now...oh, wait, I need to get that new license so I can travel by air plane. Okay, maybe I'll just drive...that would be fun. Or...or...private plane...the lottery is so high you could get a private plane and come get me. That would be fun!!

Walked 40 minutes - 2.1 miles. Then 32 minutes on Recumbent bike - 7.8 miles. The back felt good but the knee still hurts a little so taking it easy.

Wait, Karen, I thought you and Kathy were hosting us with lottery winnings!

Power went out last night due to Santa Ana winds with 80mph gusts hitting us. Came back on this morning but PGE shut it back down because of the fire danger due to the wind knocking down power lines. It's been two days and supposed to abate this evening.

We just got the generator working and Comcast is back up again. But I may ignore that and pretend that I need to go into town for emergency supplies, in my case hot coffee. Do lottery tickets count as emergency supplies? >:)

So, with the one-in-a-thousand chance of encountering someone with Covid versus the one-in-three-million chance to win $700,000,000.00, I stayed home, sigh. Can't wait for us all to be free again!
