Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? yes

And a quick update on Bandit. The hematoma is almost completely gone. He is mostly back to normal but when I put my hand up high on his leg I can still feel the hardness of it so I still take it pretty easy on him altho we are back to about normal exercise together.

@SummerSkier loving this pic and so pleased to hear he's almost recovered. Xo

@thabit11, so true love your idea! “ it's really weird, there are many things I wanted to try but when I wanted to write about it, I couldn't think of anything. I should write down somewhere whenever I feel interested in doing something so I can remind myself later.”

One thing that comes to mind is run a 5k with my daughter and 10 year old grandson. I’ve ran a half marathon with my daughter before. My grandson asks a couple times if I would run a 5k with him....

@GrandmaJackie sounds awesome let us know if u decide to do it.

Things that I would like to try this year: axe throwing, trampolining, archery and on my bucket list are to drive an exotic car in the Xtreme Xperience , see the Chicago Bulls play in person and participate in the Insane Inflatables Obstacle race. But what I was up at 5 am doing after the exercise for the day was trying to find a personal trainer near me to guide me in strength training next month. Never be afraid to dream big. With work, some of these dreams will come true.

    Wat a list!!!!! @Beautyofdreams

I'm glad that Bandit is better! Thanks for the update!
Something new that I'd like to do? I'd like to find the time to learn how to Belly Dance. I think that it would be a great workout!! I'd also like to continue building up my speed/time on my c25k and eventually turn it into a real 5k (perhaps by my 60th birthday in May!?) and even a 10k (I'm "shooting" for a Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving 2021)

    Love it! @Mrs_ Hoffer

    From Rick:
Weekends are a good time to consider doing something new.
Is there something new you would like to do?

The last time we ate out was Valentine’s Day 2020 & a couple weeks later, COVID hit. We have not eaten out since then.

Neither of us really loves to cook, so we eat pretty simply.

We’ve decided to design, plan & co-cook our at-home Valentines dinner. The beginning of a NEW tradition of co-created special celebratory dinners at HOME rather than returning to eating out, which is the largest threat to us maintaining our combined 124 lb loss!!

I’m SO excited we came up with this!
    Hugs!
    Maddie
PS Also glad I will t feel overfill as I can always eat leftovers the next day. (I tended to finish my plate(s) in restaurants.)

    So romantic and fun @MadisonMolly2017

    Plans for setting calorie goal
For February, I will be joining the others in the group that are here for accountability while maintaining. I am adding 200 calories/day to my January target calories, for a total of 1680. For comparison, MFP stated that my maintenance calories should be 1610. We’ll see how this goes and adjust daily calorie goal if I begin to consistently gain.

Also, I will consider calories a “yes” if either my food is under 1680, or my net is under 1400. Both of those numbers are 200 calories above my January numbers.

I'm working on changing up my exercise since I have a good 6 week base of cardio. So I'm trying different things and mixing long workouts with smaller ones.
