Yes, yes, and yes, it was a good day.
Goals... when I was loosing weight I had concrete goals, but now in maintenance it is a little harder. Some how keeping on going doesn't feel so much like a goal. Have to give this one some thought. Rick, I think you are in maintenance, if you read this I'd like to know what your goals are.5 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, did weight training at home for 40 minutes.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes. Hubby was making hot chocolate tonight and I didn't have enough calories left for the day for a regular size mug. I made him give me a much smaller amount so that I would stay within my calories.

Did the body move today?? Ooooh yes... push day and the arms are still just floppin around.
Did I stay within the calorie budget?? Ugh... yes... but it was a struggle to stay distracted from the kitchen!!
Did I log the food/dranks?? Yes... and kept a real close 👁 on them.
Well - is three really the magic number?? I hope so, because it was hard to stay in ✔️ today. Someone PLEASE tell me it gets easier... haha. Trying to keep laser focused!! **laser beam noise**
It Definitely Gets Easier.
Target your biggest “threat to success”... work on it until you land on a solution that works. Then pick the next “threat to success” Repeat.
If it’s staying out of the kitchen... some things that work for folks:
- Post stats for the say in UAC & announce “Kitchen is Closed” & do not go in there again. I began this tonight. Started dishwasher & shut the door. Said outloud “the kitchen is closed” When I was dieting, I ate dinner & then went upstairs & stayed upstairs. LOL I works. Also as Someone else in here room I also found that I could be very hungry at bedtime and wake up not very hungry. I think the bedtime hunger is “mouth hunger” not true hunger for me.
- Eat a big breakfast. Research study showed women lost more wt & kept it off if they ate 700 cals BF, 500 L, 200 D when compared to typical American distribution of 200 BF 500L & 700 D. What helped me switch was letting myself eat dinner foods for breakfast- then over time I moved to breakfast foods.
- Play with timing & composition of meals/snacks u til you find the one that’s best for you - then stick to it. Our bodies do best when they are fed on regular pattern.
- Develop hobbies & interests ***** really important.
- Time your exercise to get you out of kitchen when you are most at risk of going g back in.
- lots of water
- lots of sleep
We’re here to help,

Yes x2 aka pass day 1
First pass day in two weeks (since I rejoined Feb 20). Had a lot of exercise today setting up some things in a classroom for hybrid learning (lots of opening and moving of boxes) plus more box moving while volunteering for the food market giving dry goods and veggie boxes to families. But ordered chipotle delivery for lunch and ended up over on calories.8 -

Exam day- I hate exams. It is impossible to do well in lockdown when there are three kids interrupting your exam (open book or not). Been about 400 over my calories budget the last two days, simply because I’m not thinking about it. Now exams are done gotta find my focus again.....9 -

I had an NSV today. My partner bought me some wrap style pants from his work travels 3-4 years ago but they were too tight around the waist so I never wore them even though I like them. Today I decided to try them on as all of my pants have become baggy the last couple of months. They are now comfortable around the waist and he was pleased to see me wearing them as he's asked me about a dozen times if I'm ever going to wear them.11 -

3 YES day barely.
Used the time waiting for my sons’ dentist appts to walk around the outside of the building. Round and round and got lots of steps in. But then made a really yummy dinner and overate. Was being mindful, just couldn’t stop. Frustrating. Just slid under the calorie budget. Need a better eating day tomorrow.7 -
@shomanswest It DOES get easier for sure, but you might face hard day's, bad choices on meals so you end up hungry, or too ached or tired to cook so you eat whatever. But in general your body will start to get accustomed to less calories intake, it won't take long! Don't worry 🥰🥰3
