Sorry that I am so late catching up on the posts, but I just wanted to say @Winner_in_Life @mshawski congratulations on losing 10 kg and 60 lb respectively, that is a great feat!
@donna25trinity Happy belated birthday to my other early poster and our always cheerful encourager!โจ So happy to have you in the group ๐
@Chinkiri Haven't visited my family in Paris in 1.5 years, but hope to go to la trรจs grande nation this summer ๐ Also, great job on increasing your steps, I currently am trying to *reverse* my bad trend of overeating ๐5 -
30th March
Only managed 20 minute walk, felt pretty tired after long weekend's travel and work. However, cleaned up all the mess I had had to leave behind, after rushed departure to Paris, so I feel well pleased with myself.
Stayed under calories. Had a shop bought pasta with salmon meal for lunch, but added a handful of shrimps. Cooked properly in the evening, nice lentil curry! Logged it all.6 -

Pass days used 2 of 3....
@Chinkiri loved the photos from Paris. Reminded me of some of the scenes from Outlander tv series. So decadent! And such an interesting location to give vaccines out. LOL.2 -
@chinkiri, I also cooked a curry tonight. Lots of veggies and... a can of coconut. Fair traid-off, if the kids eat it! ๐
Various activities: short bike ๐ดโโ๏ธ, brief walk ๐ซ and a hard upper body ๐โโ๏ธ workout, where I most likely didnt burn much. Breakfast day, so just a little over 100 cal left, but still under!
Since I cannot use 3 passes in a day (I have 2 left, as of today), I kinda... won! ๐6 -

Goodnight ๐๐4 -
A pass day today, and not a good one. Did lots of exercise, ate well for lunch and breakfast but....baked for my sister and parents for an afternoon tea to celebrate unseasonably hot weather and being allowed to meet in a group of six in our garden. And I just fell into stupid old habits. Ate cookie dough, picked at the (terrible!!) vegan lemon drizzle cake and also ate a scone once we all sat down together. My husband invited everyone to stay for dinner, I had a few Doritos and other than that my dinner was fine but i can still feel the effects of too much sugar now, hours later. Iโm super disappointed in myself as I thought I was really moving on from old bad habits. On the plus side I said no to alcohol which is actually pretty amazing for me. Certainly a few months ago I would have been on the vino tonight! So Iโll take that as my positive and move on. Looking forward to waking up tomorrow and being rid of this horrible sugar effect.13
-
@Katiecan2021 , if you woudn't have been able to identify the sugar superdose before, than I'd say that this IS progress! Also, making it history the next day and not eating just the same way, out of frustation, for days to come is worth being ๐ acknowledged.
March is in the books, anyhow!6 -
โ biked for 30, went on a 35 minute walk
โ nope, not even close to staying under. Couldnโt sleep last night and wound up snacking. Ironic thing- yesterday I did several extra workouts to stay under my calorie allowance.
โ tracked everything that I ate and drank, including all the late night snacks
Used pass day number 3. No more pass days left. So close to the finish line. Hoping tonight and tomorrow I stay on track.
Good luck everyone! You can do this ๐5 -

All done with the KB workout and my PR hovered around 28 min. I'll take it and will run the program again in August with only the 40 lb KB the whole time.
I also "treated" myself to a decadent double chocolate muffin from a local bakery. I think all the sugar made me full of fidgety energy in the afternoon so I went out for a long walk, ran some stairs, and did a 500-meter dash. Google Fit doesn't want to parse any of that beyond "5.65 km Afternoon walk" though.
---|---|---|---
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? YES | The 10,000 Swing Kettlebell Workout [Session 19 of 20](28), 5.65 km Wacky Walk (80) TOTAL: 108 min
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? YES | *Base + 379
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? YES
---|---|---|---
*NOTE: Wacky Walk counted as half the calories
Personal Bonus: Did I meet my protein macro for the day (40%)? NO | 34%
Pass Days Used: (MAR16)(MAR25)Since my 40 lb KB is taking some getting used to, I've worked out my expected progression using a drop set approach with my 25 lb KB. However, I ended off the first week and then started the second week by advancing my workout progressions faster than expected.
The calendar has been adjusted as of MAR082021 to reflect that I may end up doing 8 sessions with only the 40 lb KB (not just 3, as laid out in the original plan). Still aiming for a consistent 30 min PR by month-end.
For the weekend of the 20 & 21, my times were faster because I wasn't required to do the 3 sets of ancillary exercises (weighted squats). But, it's also the first time I used the 40 lb KB exclusively.
The number in yellow indicates the number of minutes taken to complete the workout that day

another day from hell. anyone ever had one of those days where you just wanted to go back home and get into bed and start the day over tomorrow. today was a test of my faith. it seems as though a serious of unfortunate events were happening all day to me. the only good thing was, and I just realized it when I reached home. in the past bad days like these would have had me eating my feelings , or shopping (which I can't afford right now) or eating while online shopping , I only wanted to get home and go to bed. I guess that's a NSV, I am now hopefully changing how I deal with stress6 -

@Winner_in_Life
I apologize that @oh_jackie had to point out your stunning accomplishment!!!
Unfortunately, I had to look up a kilogram conversion to pounds to get the picture.
My apologies and congratulations!!!
Your not so smart friend, Rick2 -
