Thanks for the concern folks. Fortunately I'm fine. Sometimes running doesn't agree with me but I feel fine once I stop. I don't know why and my doctor isn't worried about it. But I walked today just to be sure, which seemed like a waste of what is probably the last cool day in Florida!
@sussexbythesea - I hope all is well with you?2 -

A good start to my running month - helped by the slightly warmer weather. Ran in capris and a t-shirtI’m taking part in a challenge and my stretch target is to run 52.4m this month
@sussexbythesea - I hope you’re ok.

I did a walk and a run today, putting me at 16/75. I'm trying to get ahead of my goal because tomorrow I'm unlikely to get any miles. I'm scheduled for my second vaccine dose (hurray) but I have to drive most of the day to get to the appointment (worth it and what am I doing anyway?). Did I tell you I've already booked my flights to go see my 93 year old mother for the first time in 13 months?
My husband and I are spending a very quiet Easter. We bought a tiny ham that we are cooking. But soon I'll be able to see my sons and the rest of my family!
Hope you are all having a wonderful day.3 -

Just curious - does anybody run in zero drop flexible shoes? I think I am having issues from the shoe shop shoes! Any recommendations? Thank you

@ Leanz:Here is a good article about zero drop shoes. https://www.wellandgood.com/zero-drop-shoes/
I know that for me being older, I found being bare foot, I was suffering foot problems such as arthritis in the ankles and Plantar Fasciitis. Also, I know that if running form is incorrect, there can be more issues. I went to a three way flexible orthotic called Protalus that actually alleviated some of my pain issues.
I sent home the dog I was watching the past 12 days. Going to miss Ruby girl.

@SUFFERLANDRIAN - Oh no....did you have another run-in with a car??
@JOEMO - Good to see you back!
Dave1 -
@clepant thanks for your thoughts. The stiff arch in shoes really makes my foot sore. I will have to back off running and work hard on my form. Running keeps me sane so see how that goes 😳
@sufferlandrian ouch hope you and the bike are ok0 -
