Exercise- yes, Pilates
Calories- under
Tracking- yea
Technically I am out of the winner circle but I am definitely winning over where I was last month. I have already logged more active minutes this month than the past two combined. My goal to finish this month strong is to get to the end of the month having logged daily.5 -

I went out for a walk after teaching today, thinking I'd just take a quick turn around the block--but then I wound up walking 2 miles, enjoying a podcast and the sunshine. Sometimes I surprise myself!
@RangerRickL makes a good point about quitting on ourselves--I know I've been tempted to give up several times since I started the UAC in January. Usually that was due to a lack of faith in my ability to get back on track after stumbling. But the great thing about this community is that there are plenty of people who've been in that same place and who continue to have faith in me when I've stopped believing in myself for a moment.11 -

Target your biggest “threat to success”... work on it until you land on a solution that works. Then pick the next “threat to success” Repeat. -MadisonMolly
Every year on the 3rd Saturday in October they close off this road to traffic and people bungee jump off of this bridge - over 800 feet to the river below! It's pretty amazing, and a dizzying sight to look down!!
pics are large so I put them in the spoiler....9 -

Trying to keep the positive momentum going after my two days examining last week. I've set up a sort of timetable / to do list on my electronic calendar, including exercise, food and fun things, seems to work so far.
Lack of structure seems to be a trigger for me to dip into depression and inactivity. Book Club on Zoom was good, but I find it much harder to be tolerant of people who go on and on on Zoom, than when I see them face to face...
Planning a trip to the seaside tomorrow ...
@Chinkiri Bravo! Isn’t it fun to figure ourselves out?!! Congratulations & I hope the seaside is splendid❣️transparentenigma wrote: »Hi guys. Just checking up on everyone.

calories: nope
pass: I have been out the circle for awhile now
today was not good nor bad. I tracked, but because I didn't weigh I cannot honestly say if i was within my calorie limits. but I am not letting that get to me. I weighed yesterday, was 298.8, I was over the moon, finally out of 300 land. Woke up this morning and weighted 300.8, I just can't even.
All I said to myself, either it was water weight you lost that had you in 200 land, or its water weight you have gained that have you in 300 land. Either way, keep on trucking, so that's what I'm doing.
My clothes are feeling a bit looser, I am not in as much pain and my energy is starting to go up. so I will hold onto that while the scale figures itself out.
@transparentenigma
Congratulations on managing emotions that can be tough, and staying on course!
I ONLY pay attention to average weights (weight Gurus app) & 10-day trend rates (Happy Scale app). Daily weights don’t mean anything to me -they are just DATA for the more important calculations & graphs.
It certainly reduces the stress. When I was losing I aimed for 4lbs lost per Month. Always hit it - sometimes early in the month, sometimes mid month, sometimes end of month due to the vagaries of weather, water, salt intake, exercise!
Kept it positive & more peaceful!
Congratulations on hitting your phenomenal milestone💪🏻🌟🎖🎉🏆
Hugs,

I agree with all you wrote!
Also, I believe that Handling Stumbles is THE KEY to maintenance, which is our Ultimate Goal. EVERY time we pick ourselves up kindly, and with self-care figure out what happened & how we might avoid it in the future, and then continue...we are practicing ESSENTIAL skills. Essential.
Congratulations!!!

No exercise today, but I did eat well and log. Some days it does feel like I am giving up... Oh well, things will get better, in fact they are just slowly.6

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Erm....Sort of. I mopped floors, moved furniture, vacuumed up & down stairs. Did 13 minute office yoga, a few sit ups. But not true hardcore exercise.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes, and ate pretty healthy
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Oh, yeah 😬4 -

On quitting on yourself:
I've been in and out of MFP for a few years, have dropped out numerous times, but have finally committed myself. While I now may disappear for a few days, I come back and carry on. It doesn't mean that I am quitting or giving up. I have also noticed how many of the newcomers drop out every month; some don't even make it to the starting blocks. However, I have also noticed that from every batch of new members, there are a few who stay the course and become hugely supportive members of the community. I'd like to focus on those tenacious and valued UAC'ers - three cheers for them!7 -
Newbie here tryng to get this winners circle lol, but im really happy with this challenge its not too difficult and it keeps you accountable to yourself, to your goals, to your new lifestyle, for YOU and for your whole well being, that being said....
