Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Erm....Sort of. I mopped floors, moved furniture, vacuumed up & down stairs. Did 13 minute office yoga, a few sit ups. But not true hardcore exercise.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes, and ate pretty healthy
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Oh, yeah 😬

I have never done anything like this before. I was really afraid to commit to this challenge because I thought it would add more stress to my life. But it’s been a great motivator and has helped me stay on track. Knowing I’m not in it alone has been so great!! 🤗

@Bovaryoo - I don’t think you’re “lazy” for not exercising at night. Sometimes the day just calls for relaxing instead. I realized some time ago that if I tell myself I’ll exercise when I get home from work, it rarely happens. So knowing that, it provides motivation to get my rear out of bed and get moving in the morning (after coffee of course!)

@transparentenigma - please don’t beat yourself up over 1 pound. It’s just a number, albeit a significant one. Track an average weight to help even out the swings. I don’t use it, but there’s a “happy scale” app that does it for you. I understand why it’s frustrating for you, but don’t let it ruin your day.

@SummerSkier It's not just cats! Giving oral meds to horses is worse! The weight ratio is way too much in their favor.

@Chinkiri You are so right! I feel so grateful to you and so many other UACers. Although it is not an official policy, it makes me smile whenever one of our long-term members post after an absence.
    Thanks, Rick

No exercise today, but I did eat well and log. Some days it does feel like I am giving up... Oh well, things will get better, in fact they are just slowly.

@alligatorob Yes, “in fact they are just slowly” This! Soon, you will be fully recovered. I have learned recovery goes in fits & starts ie you can “suddenly” recover when you least expect it!!
