Not sure what went wrong but I posted last night and it looks like it never uploaded….so May 10th was a pass day. I didn’t post on the day because I hate posting pass days, especially one with no reason where I just picked away in the kitchen before dinner time.
May 11th was much better. I headed straight to the gym after I finished work, left the husband to prepare dinner and was out of the way of the kitchen for my danger hour! On the exercise debate, I don’t think the exercise contributes that much directly to my weight loss, But it does put me in the right frame of mind to eat well. For me, the two have to go hand in hand, and the eating well is much harder than the exercise!8 -

Me too!! It must be all the endorphins that are released with exercise. The other key for me is adequate sleep ... sometimes I think that I confuse tired and hungry.

I finally got around to lowering my daily cal goal to 1700. The chocolate cake that I had for several days over my birthday weekend has really "sparked" my sweet tooth - and I'm finding it HARD to cut it out again! Ugh!!4 -

So tardy check-in, but within 24 hours so that's good. I wanted last night to "clear" before "closing" it out and then this morning I had to be out the door early to deal with furniture deliveries at MIL's new home.
So May 11th was 3 x yes. Good day, on track. Would have liked me to fit in more exercise, but when I planned to head outside, I was ready to face plant so since I already had 25 minutes on the bike I decided to go to bed early at 8:30 PM. Crazy! Closed yesterday with calories to apply to my pending May 10th.
So current standing on May's passes is the following:
Pass day: 3
No-pass day: 7

That's a good percentage too @SummerSkier and right in line with Harvard Health's general recommendations. Barring my lacklustre vis-a-vis nutrition this month, I find it relatively easy to reach this goal on a fairly regular basis (or at least 35%). I'll keep the goal til year end and go from there.0
