GW 125-127?
June 1 - 131 lbs
I've never started a discussion thread on here, so here we go! 6 months into the year and where is everyone at with their goals?! I'm so close yet still always just hovering around or above 130lbs. Plateau, sigh.
Goals for June:
- cut sugary coffee and switch to tea
- no cheese
- alcohol once, on weekend
- run 2-3 x week
- 10,000 steps per day
- do my darned stretch and 💪 strength classes!

Thanks for starting the thread @k8richer !
I've joined the Fat2Fit challenge in another group, but I'll report here on a weekly basis only as I am so close to goal weight.

I can go diving again !! The borders are still closed, but an exception is made if you do not stay longer than 12 hours, which is enough to drive - gear up - dive - gear down - have a drink - and head back home. This weekend was already planned with a virtual baby shower and some chores, so maybe next week IF I don't get side effects from my vaccine on Friday. Happy times ahead!5 -
Thanks for starting the thread! I’m quite pleased. About six weeks ago i reunited with hubby and returned home after about about 15 months away - eldercare out of state due to COVID. Returned home at 112.6 - and after many weeks of takeout, ice cream, wine , pizza, pastrami, etc in NYC, I’m exactly one pound up at 113.6.
Just bummed I’m also soft - had to stop working out - car accident injury - so I know I’m also losing muscle. In physical therapy now and hope to restart some strength training soon!8 -
Hi everyone I’m new to the group and recently got back on the wagon to get my pre-pandemic body and mindset back.

Ultimate GW is 135, though I’d like to regain the muscle I lost this past year too so this is just an estimate and my “feel good” weight.
* Goals *
Maintain IF fasting streak with an 18 hour average
No snacking between meals
Complete every scheduled video in the EPIC program for the month ( 23 videos of dumbbell circuits & HIIT )

A couple of my posts in last months thread disappeared. And one from the previous month. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Here goes again.
My goal for June is to get back to 125. I plan to alternate running and weight training 6 days a week. I plan to focus on macros and log everything.5 -

I can't believe it's June already! I hate the cicadas keeping me from running outside but I've been keeping up with my schedule very well. The pounds aren't flying off, but I'm feeling skinny... Which is great because I'm attending a wedding next weekend and I'd like to wear a tight dress5 -

Goal: 160-165lb ish (72.6-74.8kg ish)
May Goals, How it went:
1. Workout 4-6 days a week.: YES!
2. Eat 1450 calories per day and don't generally eat back exercise calories : Some days I ate over by up to 800 calories but since I'm not generally eating my exercise calories, it washes out...and my weight has continued to decrease.
I started a running program in mid-May, and that's been going great... I'm actually kind of liking running.
June Goals:
Continue same as I've been doing.
Start back in physical therapy to figure out back issues.

Still in the plateau (grrr), but feeling skinny-ish and that's what matters. I've been doing lots of stretch & strength classes and they are SAVING my back. I'm a new woman! Even went for a great run yesterday and first kayak outing of the season today ( I took it easy!).
@tracimckinney yay for basketball nets! I swear it is sometimes the only thing that gets my kids moving (and me too).
@CeeBeeSlim - I am sorry about your car accident! Is this recent?! Healing and husbands come first before worrying about a pound or two.
@Antiopelle that's super diving is back on! Can you post pics? I'm so curious!
@Cora0477 Im glad you are back!

We were able to switch a little bit around our weekend, and we managed to squeeze in a dive on Saturday evening! Wooohooo
@k8richer: here are some pics. The first one shows that we sometimes have to do very long walks from our car to the water + stairs to clamber over the dikes - a true calorie burn right there with +- 40kg (88lbs) of gear on our backs, as our waters are mostly very cold and we dive in drysuits to keep us warm. The second one is hubbie in full gear with camera (an extra 12 kg/26lbs to carry).
The third is me.
First we have to do all the prep: getting all that gear in the car, have the tanks filled and drive to the dive-site.
The actual diving is sometimes in strong currents and choppy waves and that is why I need to be in tiptop shape. Then we need to get all the gear in the car again, get home and rinse everything thoroughly and hang to dry. That is my favorite workout ever!

@Antiopelle So cool!!! I have a scuba license and dove many parts of the world but it’s been forever ago!!

No Orangetheory at all!
I stopped working out heavy for the month of June and doing light walking and water sports. I refrain alcohol during the week and limiting to the weekend.
I still eat everything but look at the progress! I can’t believe it. Now that the kids are on their summer break, my challenge is to get them active with me😉

Made it to week 9 of my 12 week running plan. I'm challenging myself to run every other day so I can finish the plan by June 30th.4 -
Alright I struggled with joining in again, but I just need to do it and get my butt back in gear.
Puppy is now potty trained and I'm currently watching my in-laws dogs so I have 5 dogs at my house. I also have a 10 yr anniversary coming up with my husband and a vacation planned in August. Summer is back and I realized that I either need to lose weight to get back into my shorts or I'm going to need to buy new shorts.....
I haven't weighed myself since March and I'm nervous that its going to be bad.
I plan on weighing myself tonight

@Antiopelle that is just too too cool! What a crazy workout indeed!
@weatherking2019 thanks for the pics too it's! it's amazing sometimes just changing the workout makes a huge difference (instead of just doing more of the same). Yay!
@Go_Deskercise welcome back - you should go running with your dogs! So cute.
I ran with my dog this morning before the crazy heat hit and it was awesome! Then I ate too much sushi for dinner but it was delicious 😋 My 15 yr old is apparently going to run with me tomorrow morning....we shall see!3 -
@k8richer - Just waiting for my little guy to get his last booster shots and then I'll start going on walks and runs with my boys again3
-
I like the vibe in the thread at the moment !
@l4a_p: chin up girl, you can do it! And maybe those holiday scales are just not as calibrated as the ones you have at home.
@weatherking2019: what a wonderful family you have. If you can get your children diving with you on holiday that would be great. I have some friends with diving kids and that underwater bond is inspiring.
@tracimckinney: just keep on running, you can do it !
@go_deskercise: my god, how cute can a puppy really be !! Can you send him/her over please??? And I can relate to the shorts issue. I almost couldn't don my drysuit, hubby had to squeez me in. Which motivates me to shed those last ponds for the umpteenth time.
@k8richer: you are doing great, running before the heat hits. We've just started a two week sunshine period - bliss !2 -
@k8richer Thanks for that perspective! I can let the weight-watching and working out obsession get out of hand. The accident was in early April. Part of my physical therapy is on a reformer so that feels like exercise!3

Loving all the photos! Thanks for sharing. Wanna see an out of alignment X-ray of my spine? Anyone...? Anyone? 🤣🤣🤣2

Struggling a bit with binge eating lately.
Went from 135 lbs. (my goal weight) to 138.0 lbs. as of this morning. Feeling kind of "down" on myself. Hoping this thread will keep me accountable and get me back on track!3 -
@Eridove this is the place to be for healthy support! 3 lbs is just a jump away from 135lbs so don't beat yourself up for that. One day at a time!
@Go_Deskercise omg, I would play with my dog all day and get no work (or workouts) done
@Cora0477 love the pic! You are looking trim and fit! Congrats to the grad.
I went in search of a pic I could share but like a typical mother, I have no good photos of myself, only my children (and dog). I will fix this and share!2 -
