Dear UAC friends,
June will be the last month of the Ultimate Accountability Challenge.
I will be here with you all this month. Please finish your commitments to achieve the Winner's Circle and/or be a Champion.
Over 3 years ago, the leader who originated the UAC had to end the group. I was a UAC team member and I volunteered to lead the group. She gave me the 'keys' to the UAC discussion group.
My wife, Rose and I, are both in our 70's and like @Bill70sStrong, we are still healthy and active seniors. But, I am in the process of leaving my career of almost 50 years. We will be leaving our home of 28 years. We are in agreement that it's time for me to leave the leadership of UAC too.
It is time to simplify our lives.
Since the beginning of the UAC, all of the technical setup for each month's discussion group has been created by my friend and law firm administrator Jessica. She has been our behind the scenes tech guru and support. There would not have been a UAC without Jessica's volunteer efforts.
I intend to start posting my daily accountability to my MFP Friends. I have never done that before.

Today I did yoga (for Apple watch badge) because Jiu Jitsu is cancelled due to another batch of Covid cases in the gym. My backup jiu jitsu plan for the week is also unavailable so I'll be doing more yoga etc. Luckily we still have kids classes so I get some mat time. South Africa is in a pretty tough Third Wave of Covid right now, so we just need to do the best we can.
I did log all my food and was under budget.8 -

I have suspended the "All Scheduled Workouts Completed" item from my personal challenges as I figure out my new workout schedule while I heal this minor quad injury. @RangerRickL Thank you so much for this challenge. Your kind heart has always been such an encouragement. One time, maybe a year ago, I was about to quit the group because I felt that I just didn't have time to post. That very day, you mentioned that I would probably be in the winner's circle because of my consistency. Something rose up within me that made me want to stick with it again, even if my posts consisted of only "Yes x 3". I must say that sticking with the challenge has helped me develop healthier eating habits. Thank you for all of your work with the UAC. May God bless you and Rose in this new chapter of your life! 💕

I did yoga today so I could get the Apple award for the Yoga Day challenge. I've never been a fan of yoga and don't really get it but I'm motivated by the silly awards. I just followed the poses in a book about it that I happen to have.
