I am somewhat breaking the guidelines today. I was supposed to quote a single NSV today and direct you back to the 15th, but I refuse to select just one. There were many many inspiring member victories and I am going to encourage you to read them ESPECIALLY if you are report in early and miss out on all wonderful posts that follow. Grab your cup of coffee (or tea :P ) and enjoy some summer reading in the July 15th thread. Have a great day.13 -

Yes 35 min walk, 45 min weights.
Yes tracked yes under.
Not great day ever but stayed under calories. Xo8 -
So last night I was having trouble getting to sleep and the old "devil on my shoulder" started talking to me. Believe it or not, I decided to reread the NSVs from yesterday (thank you Sherri!) and before long I thought why would I want to be miserable tomorrow morning? I love all the stories and learned so much about everyone and their journies. Thank you for sharing.13

✅ - Exercise 20+ Minutes (146)
✅ - Calories within budget (438 under, ate back 468 exercise calories)
✅ - Tracked every detail I consumed (yes)
0 Pass Days Used
Personal Challenges Met: 11/16 days (2nd, 4th, 5th, 11th, 15th)
✅ - Net Carbs 30g or less (20g)
✅ - Protein 180g or more (207g)
✅ - All Scheduled Workouts Completed (2)- Yoga - 16 minutes
- Strength - 31 minutes Upper Body B (DB Rows, DB Overhead Press, Band Woodchoppers)
I was able to add 99 minutes of walking today.
My foot is already feeling a lot better after starting to tend to it Wednesday afternoon. I had no discomfort during my first steps after waking up today, the first time that has happened in perhaps a couple weeks.
Given this progress I walked a bit more today, totaling 99 minutes. It was pain free although I could still tell that it was not 100% (not that I could expect that so soon).
I'm going to gauge how it feels the rest of today and tomorrow (which is a scheduled rest day) and determine plans for Sunday cardio based on that. If I continue to be pain free I think I'll test the foot on a soft running track for a short period on Sunday and evaluate daily going forward.9 -

@Winner_in_Life - congratulations on the results of your hard work!
I’m checking in earlier than usual so I won’t eat back my exercise calories. I’m going to put in my retainers. I’m not struggling, just bored for some reason.

@SummerSkier Very well said! The NSVs are the highlight of the UAC!
My post today.
An unusual day in that I drove for several hours today to pass on a piece of furniture owned by my wife's great grandmother on the maternal side. I have a pickup truck and I had well wrapped the hutch with blankets and a waterproof tarpaulin. Rain clouds threatened all the way to the delivery point. A great-great-great grandson, 15 years old, helped me to carry the hutch from my truck into his parent's home. Mission accomplished!
