@LazyBlondeChef agreed. Being too hard on yourself normally starts the yo yo rollercoaster cycle and doesn't really help with progress. Better to move on and be thankful for the progress already made. You haven't "ruined" everything with one off day but if you attempt to lick an apple for lunch chances are the 1 day will spiral into 2 or 3 or a week.8 -

Eating less made me binge eat more frequently. Right now, after 22 days, I'm starting to crave some food, but I still feel like I can have control. While I couldn't stop myself before.
Goodnight to you all, closing early today. 💜💛6 -
I honestly tried to keep it simple, typing up brief thoughts on the topic, and it kept morphing until I got this weirdo thing below in the spoiler.
I decided to edit it until it seemed at least somewhat cohesive and just post it anyway, because even if I come off as a weirdo, at least you were warned about me (yes, I'm a weirdo if you haven't noticed yet).
For future reference, it's usually a bad idea to get me started or else I'll dump yet another stream of consciousness (edited and re-edited for readability) into a spoiler or something.
Here you go.I think the most difficult thing to convey, which was hardest to learn myself (and still requires relearning every so often), is that the way to build discipline with healthy habits is a complete opposite way from restriction mentality and punishing transgressions.
You have to "want it" therefore you have to find the ways to make it pleasurable to you and not punishing.
If you find such pleasurable pathways but still choose not to follow them and resent yourself over that inaction, then you have some self-work to do in order to learn what is preventing you from doing what you have chosen is the correct way.
When we're not the perfect human beings we thought we were and make some mistakes along the way, we can sometimes get super pissy about it and would do better taking some anger management classes towards our selves in those moments. As opposed to abusing ourselves back into another eating disorder.

11 days no grazing.
Walk, tracked, ate every single calorie.
Scale went from 58.8kg down to 58.4 yest yayy !! So painfully slow lol but again trying to stay focused on keeping the bingeing, impulse eating, Stress eating and grazing at bay instead of obsessing about the fluctuating number on the scale. Xo

Pass Day
@RangerRickL Hope you had a Happy Birthday!!
So I am in a bad habit of not tracking on the weekends. I did this last weekend too.
On a much happier note, I got a book to teach me how to quilt my quilts with my walking foot and I am sooo sooo excited to get started. I have been trying to find good marking pens over the past couple of days.
Now if only I could walk on my treadmill and quilt at the same time!!10 -

Exercise – yes, bike ride and some cardio exercise in short bursts.
Tracked – yes
Calories – yes – well under. (I have to make up for all the treats I had while away)
“Don't be too hard on yourself when you have an off day.”
So true, give yourself some kindness – that off day may have an underlying reason. Just get back on track when you can.

@Winner_in_Life I think it's awesome that you're going to start the Epic 1 Challenge! Kudos!!
@thabit11 eating less always made me crazy as well. It was always such a struggle to not go over every day. But this time, with an increase in protein, I'm doing MUCH better!!
@WhatMeRunning very well said!
@donna25trinity Fantastic job on 11 days no grazing!! Whoop, whoop!! And glad to see that the scale went down .4 kg for you yesterday!!!! Yay is right!! While the process can be "painfully slow", I think that we have to learn to be patient with ourselves and with the process.....
Great job with 3 yesses today: @donna25trinity @lesdarts180 @SummerSkier @TerriRichardson112 @WhatMeRunning @Winner_in_Life @Geneveremfp5 -

I did my 11 mile #icecreamwalk today. (20 total miles this wkend!) Very frustrated that I walk all the way to the store and they are out of my Rebel keto triple choc ice cream! But I chose another Rebel keto flavor - choc chip cookie dough. It was just ok.
Looking forward to smashing another week! We got this!!9 -

yep! I was looking for health memes and saw this one which I thought was funny but I struggled with what to say. I really like what @SummerSkier said about it. We all struggle with different aspects of trying to follow the UAC. Many of us have food issues while others have exercise issues. But ultimately we can all create good habits by doing our 20 mins of exercise, tracking our food and staying within our personal calorie guidelines.

Again I didn’t over eat so imagine I was in calories but just having a weekend off of tracking
Day 22
Over on pass days- out of winner’s circle5 -
1/3 pass days good on my logging and tracking. Got some good strength work in and some flexibility work. I know it’s not NSV day but what I noticed when I got down on the floor today to do some flexibility stuff it was not so hard, my knees even accommodate very in getting off the floor it’s still not pretty but overall I noticed a difference and some stretches were so much easier.
I try to have a day that I relax I have been able to stop and think do I really want that particular item if so I know what it may do to my habits so I try to stop and think and follow it up with no. The easiest way around it for me is to have it in the house!8 -

@thabit11 two things to try. Increase your cals by 100 per day.. try chewing slower and savoring. Better to have 700 extra cals per week then bump onto the rollercoaster again. Just some thoughts. You could also add variety to the menu.

We all need to have rest days @snowshoe072 , having a day that you relax is a good idea! And not having a particularly troublesome item in the house is a pretty darn good idea too! :lol You're doing very well!!
@thabit11 the only thing I might add to what @SummerSkier said is to take a look at your protein numbers. I lowered my calorie goal, but increased my protein by 25-40g/day and it's made a world of difference in my feeling more satiated throughout the day. Just a thought.....4 -
@WhatMeRunning - This: “ You have to "want it" therefore you have to find the ways to make it pleasurable to you and not punishing.”
All of this.
This is why I buy myself mini goal rings and subscribe to StitchFix. While I’m not totally all about clothes and dislike shopping (hence the styling service), wearing a pretty dress or ring that didn’t fit six months is a visual reminder of the “win”. I DO like winning. Probably too much. Lol.9 -

Today was good. I thought it may not be with the mood I woke up in. A decent work out help only a smidge but walking at the mall and actually finding 2 new bras that really fit well...How can a girl's mood not improve!10 -
A three yes day today for me. One pass day used so far.
Hit my protein goal for the first time in weeks!

Exercise: I bought a bike recently after not having one for years. Went out geocaching and rode over 10 miles, but it was a lot of stop and go, so I can't really consider that exercise. Came home and walked 3miles/43 minutes. Back to running tomorrow!
