    I must find a way to get in here more than every 5 days or so. So many great things to catch up on. :smile: Had a crazy idea to walk from the park to a local pub today along the river path. I forgot to consider the heat and humidity and the 5.5 distance (one way). Let's say I earned that beer today.

    Added 29 miles this week for a total of 92.5 miles for August.

    Followed up my Sunday excursion with a gentle 1.5 miles yesterday. Today was 5 miles but most of that was on the treadmill. In the air conditioner house.

    6.5 miles for an August total of 99 miles.

    CONGRATS because that's GOAL for @LEANZ!!! :drinker:

    I'm squeaking my way closer to my goal, little by little! Using my crutches to go out to get the mail. It's not much, but it'll just barely get me there. :smile:

    My post-surgery checkup appointment update: The recovery has been going really well! I did my time staying off of it the first two weeks and was rewarded at my post-op checkup with the green light to start putting 25-50% of my full body weight on it ANNNND the incision is healed up enough that I can now get it wet in the shower or POOL! I am still supposed to wear my air boot 24x7, but I just take the soft stuff out of it and I can still strap it on and wear it with four 1/2" heel lifts inside. I'll have six physical therapy appointments one week apart. At them, they will work with me to gradually restore my strength and range of motion and remove one heel lift every other week. Looking at about two more full months of recovery. So far, so good!
