Hello! I eat similar things during the week but I like to go out on the weekends and have a nice meal; I just try to choose healthier options so I can stay within my calorie budget for the day.
Exercised?: Yes. Workout video.
Calories?: Yes
Tracked?: Yes

Exercise: Zumba 1 hour (tired after working but I did it!)
Tracking: Yes sir!
Ate within budget: Yes!
I am still working on that Saturday thing (not really ) - Saturday is my day to hang out, have a drink and shake off the work week. It's one of the reasons that I go to a high intensity aerobics class on Friday so that I don't do too much damage.5 -

Exercise – yes
Tracked/logged – yes
Calories – yes
I’m not sure that I agree with the statement about eating the same on Saturday as Monday. After all, we humans are social animals, meeting with friends, family, special occasions, even parties are all part of a full life. I generally eat the same breakfast and lunch most days but it’s perfectly OK to eat differently occasionally. I like to think that I have learnt how to modify my behaviour so that I can enjoy special occasions while remaining fit and healthy.
I agree here!3 -

I had the day off work and a friend and I went to a beach town 3 hours away to do some hiking and exploring. We also had a lovely dinner on an outdoor patio with a couple of drinks overlooking the lake. It was a celebration of both our birthdays. Although I exercised and logged, I did go over calorie budget today.7

My eating has variety, but also a sameness to it I’ve developed over the years & because we don’t eat out or get takeout.
Sept 20
Exercise ✅
Tracked all ✅
Calories over by 177. Found the massive & expensive box of chocolate thatI my friend brought over (awkward) that my husband had hid in car. when I went to deliver a bottle of wine to the same friend.
I had forgotten the chocolate until I saw it. (I thought he hid it in his car🤣😂🤣)
Like @Jana_2020 I was happy I didn’t go higher. I’ve been doing a great job of pre-logging but I think the chocolate messed with my brain 😂🤣😂what stopped me from getting another piece? I knew I wouldn’t feel well.
The good thing: ALL my macros & micros were perfect for the day.
A late NSV: I found an old laptop of mine today - I’m Deleting old work emails etc on two laptops now lol
As I easily picked it up & walked down the stairs after my 90 minute walk, I remembered… this laptop was too heavy foe me when I was 70lbs heavier (and sick). That’s why I have two. I asked for a smaller one. Now it’s absolutely no problem.
Also, our son left his 16kg/35lb kettle ball here. I hadn’t really tried to lift it in awhile. I could. But Then I realized. I was carrying TWO of these ALL the time before !!!!
Talk about thrilling!! ❤️10 -

I was curious after reading an acquaintance’s FB post.
Comparing my weight:
Feb 29, 2020 Beginning of COVID: 160
My weight this morning: 159.3
I’ll take it.
OK, I got even more curious….
Over the past 569 days, my average
calories in were: 2,199😳
Steps 10,046❤️
Miles 4.55❤️
Sodium 1,896❤️
Fiber 33.8❤️
Protein 86❤️
Sugars 100❤️
Workout cals: 328❤️
Resting cals: 1,605❤️
Active cals: 636❤️
Calorie deficit: 46 per day which would be a 7.5lb loss LOL🤷♀️
I think it over-estimates my workout calories!
OK. This is good. ❤️

After viewing about 1/2 of the Day 10 HIIT video (with lots of burpees) I don't think I'll be making it up. Pretty sure it would be too rough on my knees with all that hopping up and down. She makes it look so easy but I know it's not. And I'm glad I took the extra day of rest because I was feeling slightly fatigued last week and today I'm not. It's a reminder to listen to my body.9 -

On the topic of the day — I live for the break in the routine that the weekend offers. When I have time to linger over a meal, enjoy taking the time to prepare and share special food and drink that the workweek demands do not allow. Maybe this will change when I am retired? Anyway, I also see some maintainers successfully balance their calories/macros over a longer period than one day to allow this flexibility. Thinking about this now.
1. Tracked it all ✅
2. Kept within calorie limit? ✅
3. Moved for 20 minutes or more? ✅ 50 minute walk with the puppy
1️⃣ pass day was used on September 4
Keep well everyone,

Yeah, I'm not sure I agree with the premise of making your Saturdays like all your other days. I think it's important to socialize and enjoy celebrations. However, I also need to constantly ask myself, if I am celebrating all the time, is that really a celebration?
I did like the idea some have raised here of making my calories lower on "regular" days and then higher on special days. I am still toying with that idea. For now I have not changed the calorie total but have been trying to stay farther under on regular days (basically not eating exercise calories). No big results so far.4
