Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day?
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?

Anyone who gives the UAC a fair try will soon realize the benefits of holding themselves accountable to the 3 goals daily. Even if it's only getting all 3 just every so often, they will see better progress than when they were not trying before. As they work to increase their 3 Yes days, they see even better progress.
But there are even more benefits to regularly holding yourself accountable in UAC than just getting better results on the scale, or in the mirror, or during physicals or from blood lab results. Simply doing all 3 things alongside the MFP food and exercise diary, and weigh-ins builds a history of these things:
1. Everything you put in your mouth. Every calorie, macronutrient, every little thing you chose to track in your diary.
2. Your daily Calories Out. In addition to the calories in, you can track every exercise or calorie burn.
3. Your weight changes over time.
A few months of that can be some very meaningful data indeed when the time comes that you may need it to continue in your health journey! But you have to actually track it all first, and UAC is a great way to keep yourself on track in that regard!13 -

Good morning (or afternoon, or evening) everyone!
Posting my weigh in results from yesterday here now. In the past 4 weeks, my weight has gone down by 4.2 pounds. But the special scale used at my doctor’s office tells a more interesting story (well, to me anyway 🤩).
Since my previous weigh in on August 25, I have:
Shed 6 pounds of fat
Gained 2 pounds of muscle
Am carrying one additional pound of water weight.
Interesting!?! I have to admit that my immediate reaction to the loss of 4.2 pounds was disappointment as I felt sure it should be greater than that. But the scale we see tells only one part of the tale.
I am proud of my progress so far and very committed to keeping doing all that I am to get healthy and to learn how to stay healthy for life!
22.2 pounds gone so far.

A lot of work inside and outside the house. 1.7 km walk. Epic - rest day. Tomorrow I have a day off and drive to our new 🏠. The car is already packed with small things which better to transport by myself than to pack for a moving company ☺️7 -
@jamcnewman - awesome! 🙌🏻
Pass day.
I admittedly need to up my accountability in October. Just need to make it through another week and a half of crazy. I’ve decided during that week and a half, I’m going to focus on good things in my posts and not whining.
Today’s bit of sunshine: my Dino dress came and it is glorious 😍🦕🦖. Ignore the awkwardness of the selfie in the spoiler - I’m not good at those but the dress was too awesome not to share.

@WhatMeRunning You are so right! I need the accountability with others. If I am only accountable to myself, I cheat and quickly rationalize why it is okay.
Today's report:
1) Calories: under my limit
2) Tracking: a bit heavy on any estimates. Good
3) Exercise: 50 minutes of walking and active stretching.8 -

Thanks @SummerSkier for your encouragement! 🥰 Ten 1 kg bags of sugar; a car tire; a sledgehammer; or the backpack of groceries including two bottles of wine that I walked home carrying last night! How was I carrying that around every day? No wonder I felt so tired. It really does help put this into perspective doesn’t it? Thanks for this!7 -
@jamcnewman Way to go and thanks for sharing your great results! Keep up the fantastic work.4

Successfully holding at 4 pass days! YAY!
Calories for day, week, month, and year are where I want them. YAY!
Keeping my spirits up as I learn to cope with tinnitus in one ear. I immediately wanted to eat, but I didn’t. Used my always successful stopgap “It will just give me TWO problems to deal with.”
Glad everyone is posting & creating habits & plans for success!
I’ve been going through photos from the past 30 years. I can see why people don’t recognize me!!!! YAY!!6
