I'm down 0.6 pounds. Unfortunately, I'm still "riding high" above where I'd like to be right now.

The long run of Jewish holidays has ended, and my plan has been to start "fresh" now that they're done. Of course, Shabbat starts tonight, and so there will be some "festive meals." Regardless, I'm going to work myself back to my weight-loss routine and see how things go from there.

    At least I'm still maintaining.

First, a shout-out to Al for making it back to goal. That’s a big accomplishment.

My story this week? I lost 0.2# and lost for four weeks in a row, and I’m sticking to my story no matter what the scale says.

Last week my weigh-in was 204.8 and this week it was 205.8. This is, however, that dreaded week when it’s finally cold enough that I can’t wear shorts and a short sleeved shirt to weigh in. As a result, I’m in “winter wear” now. With long pants, long sleeves, a tee shirt, and heavier socks. I can tell you that the difference between my summer and winter clothes is 1.2#. (Yeah, I know.) Based on that, my net is a loss of 0.2 for the week, and I’m sticking to that.

And since I was dragged kicking and screaming into winter attire, I went shopping in my closet for coats that might fit once again. My favorite coat (dark camel hair that’s a BIT large at goal) fits nicely. My short leather coat fits, but a bit snug still. My dress coat (long black wool) fits well in the event I ever dress up again, and so does my rain coat. My work coat for clearing the driveway is still too snug. Overall, a very successful shopping trip, and more encouragement for even more progress.

Well, as Charlie said, I have "officially re-gained LIFE TIME. My "official" loss at WW on Wed. was 4.6#, putting me 3.8 UNDER goal weight. Like the rest, I'm looking for at least a 10# cushion, so/// "ONWARDS AND DOWNWARDS"!!!

    Down 2.6

Last big family get together Wednesday night at our house. Lots of burgers, brats, and beer. I kept it to 1 hamburger, roasted potatoes, salad, and no beer. Not that I'm restricting myself from drinking, just didn't feel like it that night.

I quit alcohol the last of November, and since 1/1/2021 have lost 23.8#, and re-gained Lifetime. Those added calories, and added eating, really were keeping me up there. After 60 years of drinking (often not moderatly) I just said 'I don't feel like it".
Doesn't work for everyone, and sometimes I miss the comradery of drinking, but, for me, this is working. Of course Covid helped in the lockdown, and, at my age, the added dangers.

Well down 2.6 lbs this week. I've really struggled with two pacemaker/heart surgeries 3 weeks apart. That really worked on my mental attitude. Some days hungry other days not. I'm still way up from my low back in July. I'm begging to come around although I misbehaved some tonight. Well on to the next week.😄
