@jamcnewman Really?? That is the dream. We live in Airdrie but think we might want to retire to Banff or Canmore.1

slimtastesbetter wrote: »@bradkcrew have you ever used a massage stick for your legs? I have the Original "The Stick" pictured below. It really helps when I use it on my quads on a regular basis before and after runs. Makes my legs less achy during runs. You start rolling it with light pressure and then go deeper, really feeling the knots. I use it mainly on my quads but also my hamstrings and calves (not supposed to use on shins). A little pricey but I think worth it!
I second the magical properties of “the stick”!2 -

New month new start …. That was the plan, but I have to admit I didn’t track/log my food.
In my defence, I was traveling home on Friday. I had breakfast at the hotel so that would have been an estimate at best. I was tired when I got home, and had to make do with what I had in the house for dinner.
So, pass day #1
Congratulations to all the Winners – what a long list, and extra cheers for those who had no pass days!

@mshawski @slimtastesbetter Interesting, thanks!1

Not gaming the system at all. UAC guidelines are that your daily calorie limits are what you want them to be. I add an extra 100 calories (preferably protein) on dumbbell days because I'm expending more energy.3 -
@slimtastesbetter congratulations on losing 2.6 lb – slow and steady that’s the way to be successful.
@taurie – congrats on losing over 4 lb last month.3 -
@Katiecan2021 – good to see you back!2

@Healthymumlife – congrats on losing over 2 kg! Looking forward to more lovely beach pics.
@Mrs_Hoffer – walking while waiting is a great way to get more exercise in.

@rockyla, @slimtastesbetter, @LuckiS32, @achagpar and @gelatinouscube – stick with it, I also had a pass day today, tomorrow is another day.4

Making a come back from getting covid August 25th and being hospitalized from September 2nd til the 16th. Finally off of oxygen. So I can get back to walking but it is a painfully slow walk at the moment, but moving is moving.9 -
I'm not off to a particularly good start to the month. Another long and busy day at work. At some point I lost track of what I ate. I didn't exercise either since I logged off so late. However on a positive note, I didn't necessarily overeat either. It probably worked out to maintenance calories although I'll never know since I didn't track it...5

Joining a few days late but I'm so glad I found this group! I've been tracking since January but my progress has stalled. I'm hoping this challenge will help things shift a bit. Thanks for having me!

I am late to post but it working out to my advantage because I can read everyone's posts and their goals. Some of these inspire me to do the same.
For me in October...
Read every post when possible (I learn so much!)
Drop a few more pounds if the body allows it
Meditation practice (increase my consistency)
Continue to work on push-ups and overall strength exercises
@tahm42 So glad to hear you are recovering! Take good care of yourself!3 -
