@jamcnewman Really?? That is the dream. We live in Airdrie but think we might want to retire to Banff or Canmore.

@bradkcrew have you ever used a massage stick for your legs? I have the Original "The Stick" pictured below. It really helps when I use it on my quads on a regular basis before and after runs. Makes my legs less achy during runs. You start rolling it with light pressure and then go deeper, really feeling the knots. I use it mainly on my quads but also my hamstrings and calves (not supposed to use on shins). A little pricey but I think worth it!

I second the magical properties of “the stick”!

New month new start …. That was the plan, but I have to admit I didn’t track/log my food.
In my defence, I was traveling home on Friday. I had breakfast at the hotel so that would have been an estimate at best. I was tired when I got home, and had to make do with what I had in the house for dinner.
    So, pass day #1
Congratulations to all the Winners – what a long list, and extra cheers for those who had no pass days!

I feel a bit like this is gaming the system to have a larger calorie goal on Friday takeout day. But I also see that the math of it seems to be working.

Not gaming the system at all. UAC guidelines are that your daily calorie limits are what you want them to be. I add an extra 100 calories (preferably protein) on dumbbell days because I'm expending more energy.

Making a come back from getting covid August 25th and being hospitalized from September 2nd til the 16th. Finally off of oxygen. So I can get back to walking but it is a painfully slow walk at the moment, but moving is moving.

Oh my goodness I’m glad you’re in the process of recovery. Take it slow and easy.

Joining a few days late but I'm so glad I found this group! I've been tracking since January but my progress has stalled. I'm hoping this challenge will help things shift a bit. Thanks for having me!

    Yes, yes and yes

I am late to post but it working out to my advantage because I can read everyone's posts and their goals. Some of these inspire me to do the same.

    For me in October...
Read every post when possible (I learn so much!)
Drop a few more pounds if the body allows it
    Meditation practice (increase my consistency)
Continue to work on push-ups and overall strength exercises

@tahm42 So glad to hear you are recovering! Take good care of yourself!
