    Sunny day!!! A goiod 50 minute - 2.52 mile walk and 30 minutes - 5.60 miles on Recumbent. ☀️☀️☀️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

Paula that sign reminds me of the time I walked into a huge spider web at a recycling center. It was so gross and I knocked my prescription glasses off my face into one of the buns abs I couldn’t get to them. I definitely did a week of cardio. 😳

So windy here today! I had to bring my purple plant inside. It was getting beat up. Going to walk in the morning before the wind picks up again. Right now its 22 miles an hour NNW!! Crazy!

60 min workout w/my trainer this afternoon.

    I love this Paula.

Sorry I have not been here ladies. My sister is being a thorn in my backside and I have a test to study for. Which I am not doing well at. But I am lifting more weights. I am sore today. Oh and my SIL has Covid. And I have been around them, a lot. He was vaccinated. Sticking my head under a pillow and not coming up for a month.

Yesterday I weighed 158. That is the highest I have been in years. I have to stop eating my feelings. But I do feel better knowing I am now in the habit of lifting weights every other day. My bench press is up to 70 pounds already. Aiming for 90 by Christmas.

    Shelley

Nice lifting Shelley. Keep it up! Hoping things ease up for you....I know a thing of 2 about eating feelings. Eye on the prize!

I'm really starting to dislike my days in the office. I barely get any steps in and by the time I get home and eat, I'm beat!

We had a big day yesterday at work. Our company is being sold again and it was quite a dog and pony show with having our new owners on site. Lots of people came in so it all looked wonderful :) it was nice to see some colleagues I haven't seen in a while. But my guess is they won't come back for a bit. We are still technically hybrid but they're not putting too much pressure on people to come back. I'm still in 2 days a week...

Sorry ladies I posted a week ahead last week. Can’t seem to keep up with anything. Back in track. At least with posting. But my snacking is a little out of control especially at night. I’ve got to rein it in.

I love hearing how you all are overcoming obstacles. Weather, busy, lifes problems. So motivational.

I bought myself a gift with some cash my mom gave me for my birthday. Here it is:

Going from 15 pound flys to 20 pound ones was a pain. I bought 2 sets. Each PlateMate weighs 1.25 pounds. It will make it so I can slowly increase my strength.

Chris you need 2 sets for a pair of dumbbells. There are a couple of other types but I like the fact that I can stick these to the dumbbell rack when not in use. And you can just add one at first also. And don't take up room inside where your grip is. The other types do. I agree you need them. It will add some weight to those 15 pound ones. 16.25 pounds anyone? How about 17.5 Love it. Since I bought mine used off Ebay you might get yours first. Let me know what you think of them.

Wyoming wind blows my bike with me on it. Crazy for sure.

I know that walking is so much more inspiring to do than lifting weights. But weights are where we need to be at our ages. So grab a pair.

Chris you will make good use of them. So the cost is justified. Mine should be here Monday or Tuesday. That is fast shipping! 🏃🏽‍♀️

Took off yesterday. My mom had appointments Thursday snd Friday and I was just very tired.

Taking my parents to their great-grandson’s baseball game this evening. They are in the playoffs. This is the first game this season for my mom and she’s really excited. I have stadium chairs so they will be comfortable and we can social distance.

Shelley I know I need to get back to weights to get my metabolism going and strengthen these sagging muscles.

    Great weekend ladies!

Shelley, I do weights, assisted pull ups, planks, push ups, balance ball, squats, pulling a kettle-bell up with big fat rope that is thrown over a very high bar (that just tells you I don't know what the exercise...that I cuss thru entire time..is called!!), and other stuff with my trainer three days a week and I walk the other four days. I cuss and complain the entire hour, so it's a good thing my trainer likes me... :p

5.85 miles in 105 mins this morning. It was beautiful out there!

I did six hours of dance (Menagerie Festival in San Francisco). Fun. Tired. So out of shape. Should be doing weights too.

Got 6.27 miles done in 109 mins this afternoon. Woke up at 9:30ish...told Pat I wasn't going to walk...he told me to go drink some coffee...realized a bit after noon I had to put my shoes on and get out there. Clouds covered the sun for most of my walk. The wind was blowing and it was beautiful!!

Paula this is great. I need that as a poster to motivate me. Wonderful

Chris if you stopped all that work you would fall apart. So happy you keep going. Such an inspiration to us slugs.

Kathy you will find the time. Just make 15 minutes a day for weights. So were your parents the loud type of grandparents that make everyone smile at their enthusiasm? I hope they had a blast.

Saturday my two friends and I went on a bike ride. It was just what I needed to recharge from all this studying. Test is tomorrow. I am glad it is almost over.

Chris my magnetic weights arrived. Perfect shape. Hardly looked used. I love them. Will try them out on Wednesday.
