Winner’s Circle should happen for me. No pass days used yet (I know, what!?!). Not because I am trying to have no pass days (that is not the goal for me). I have been learning how to get closer to my daily calories threshold and also allowing myself to eat some exercise calories on heavy activity days. The interesting result, so far this month, is that I have been ✅✅✅ every day so far.

Another short bike ride today – we’ve had Storm Arwen causing havoc over the last 24 hours. The wind eased off a bit in the afternoon so I just went down to the shops on my bike.
Only 1 pass day taken so far this month – thanks to not going on holiday ha ha!

✅ exercise - well over 20 mins working on over wintering the garden, fruit trees cut back, dead plants dug up leafs cleared grass raked ... brrrrrrrr I was numb when I got in ..5 -
I’ve used 3 pass days so far so as I’ve now I still qualify. 🤞

✅ calories - ate below maintenance. Maintenance is my goal at weekends and it’s working out really well for me. Went out for a pub lunch. I ordered chicken pie with mash potato and I only ate the filling, a couple bites of pastry and a couple spoonfuls of mash. It was tasty and I was satisfied. Didn’t feel the drive to continue eating. So nice to have felt this freedom from food 🙌🏼

Today's exercise was 20 minutes of mixed light activity including stretches, single 20 second sets of core isometric holds and some light mobility stuff like squats, lunges, high steps and getting down and back up from the floor (managed to avoid turning that into burpees). It wasn't much but it sure felt nice to do something!
Definitely not in the Winners Circle this month with 21 pass days, but my goal this month was focusing on making the Champions List.6 -

Very cold and windy here a reminder of what is to come 🥶🥶 even the dogs didn’t want to go out I had thought of an afternoon walk but decided against it perhaps tomorrow.5 -

Today is a 3x yes day. I walked a lot (7+ miles) and ate only two light meals.3 -

I failed three days in a row to meet the requirements. I will not be in the winner circle, but I am back and I’m going to continue to try and finish the month on a high note.3 -

Exercise? Yes, barely. (I got boosted yesterday afternoon and while I was at lunch with friends, I got hit with a bad headache. By the time I got home, I had a slight fever. I went to bed. The fever has dropped, but the headache remains, albeit not as bad. I'll be fine by morning.)

Not in the winner's circle. Champion? I think so... maybe? Not sure.3 -

I am at 3 Passes right now, and my plan is to not take any more and to be in the Winner's Circle for the first time! We'll see if that works.

Exercise - A 20 minute walk earlier in the day, then pacing around supervising kids at the playground. I wound up getting a lot of steps that way, actually - it was COLD.
Tracking - Planned the day, followed the plan.
Calories - Under
I set my calories higher to be able to enjoy the Thanksgiving leftovers. I seems I have set them exactly at maintenance because I am still within 0.2 pounds of my day after Thanksgiving weight (which was 2 pounds up). That is discouraging when I look at the scale in the morning, but then I remember that it was the plan.
I am also realizing that before I joined this group and thought it through, that's what I had my calories set to all the time, and couldn't figure out why any results of a "bad day" were so hard to lose!
Today is the beginning of Hanukkah. We celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas in my house, and yes that really is a lot! Latkes (fried potato pancakes) and donuts are an important part of the holiday - so I think I'd better keep my calories set at this level for another week. I am going to consider this practice for maintenance - and maybe, hopefully a reset in term of my energy for weight loss when the break is done.
I also should note that I got some cauliflower latkes from Trader Joe's so that I can eat those sometimes.
