A Quick Aside...
Congrats to all of our members for averaging over a pound lost per person! That is incredible! We don't see numbers like this every week, and we should not expect to if the loss is going to be sustainable.
Typically, when anyone makes a healthy lifestyle change, the body releases a lot of retained water, which appears as large losses on the scale. This is normal at the beginning of any health journey, but can be disheartening when a similar loss isn't seen week after week, even if all future losses are fat rather than water. After those first few losses, it is incredibly important to remain consistent. Fad diets may work in the short run, but are difficult to maintain for long periods of time (and are probably unhealthy to maintain for too long!).
Staying motivated is tough, but we all know you are tougher. Let's make this next week a good one and strengthen our good habits. We got this.6 -
