Happy New Year everyone! I truly hope 2022 will be a much better year than either 2020 or 2021 and we won't have to deal with this stupid Covid anymore by the end of 2022.
Our NYE plans were canceled earlier today because one of our hosts was feeling poorly this morning and decided it would be too risky to get together. She had a PCR test but still has no results. We ended up getting Thai takeout instead which would probably keep me within my calorie limits but since I've decided to imbibe this evening I'll end up over which makes for Pass Day #5. I don't feel too bad about it because 4 of 5 pass days were exercise related.
Next year will be pedal to the metal in regards to UAC.10 -

The bottle of wine is still uncorked (and will remain so tonight) .... so those calories I worked everything else in the day around ended up being converted (after supper) to other things.

Planned Pass Day
I saved my last pass day of 2021 for today as I was planning on taking a rest from tracking. DH and I had our usual quiet celebration. Prosecco and modest nibbles figured in the mix,
Itβs been a good year for me as I have finished well below my original maintenance goal.
Even with Christmas and New Year indulgences, I am well below my upper maintenance weight. Any uptick will soon be gone, thanks to the daily habits I have been developing.
Eyes forward! Quick march!

Happy New Year everyone!!! 2021 was a good year: we were able to get triple jabbed, traveled, saw family and friends, worked on fitness, lost some weight, baked a ton of sourdough bread and found this very supportive group.
Much joy, health and happiness to you all in this new year!
Although I'll be ending this month with pass (didn't get my exercise in), I am excited for what next month will bring.7 -

Exercise? Yes, I did... in fast dog walks... it was cold, windy and wet today, so it was "hurry up, Sienna... the quicker you do your thing, the quicker we can go home!"

I forgot to post last night in my effort to not acknowledge what day it was. If we donβt look at 2022 and acknowledge it maybe it wonβt try to one up 2021β¦ π€ππ

I MADE IT Survived Dec with only 3 pass days as I swapped fish for my dinner entrees. Yay. Insert imaginary cartwheel that I can't do yet7

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? 59 minutes indoor cycling
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? No
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Sure did
Ended the month with 5 pass days, but I did lose weight in December and I am proud of 2021. Plus I finished as a champion.

But there were too many treats in the house and I couldn't resist them.

But I am still a champion - checked in every day (though this one is a day late!)
