(night of Dec 30)
I am pre-logging 1/2 bottle of red wine into my Dec 31 Food Log (only toasting-beverage in the house) and THEN will be planning rest of Dec 31 around that. If plan works, I WILL be in the WC for Dec. Check towards the end of the day, to see if all went according to plan ....

I do want to use this opportunity to express my thank you to all of you here. You are all very amazing. The support, the encouragement, the safe space, the helping hands, etc., etc., I am short of words. This is the most supportive group since I started using MFP. I have tried other groups. They are good, but this group rocks!
Special thanks our able leader @Mrs_Hoffer and to my "twin sister" (@MadisonMolly2017). You guys have help the group to stand when we were about to lose it.
Thank you all content volunteers, I appreciate you all. It is exciting to login each day to encouraging and motivational stuff well selected and suited for that day.@BMCc9

Happy New Year's Eve everyone! I'm also at over 11k today snowshoe...and while I'm a few calories over...I'm really not upset with myself... now just closing the kitchen down...and planning to go walk some more pet sitting clients...and dance and such with my kids to ring in 2022. God bless you all.
So, officially not in the winner's circle.
Don't know if I'm in the champions or not... I tracked daily, exercised daily, I've lost about 14 lbs this month, have used 4 pass days...I guess 5 actually due to be over by 10 calories tonight since I don't count exercise calories. ;D6 -

Happy New Year UAC! I am blessed to have found this place in 2021 and look forward to sharing 2022 with all of you!
So far it's a 3 Yes day. It will most likely stay that way, even if I stay up for a midnight toast (possibly not going to happen this night, but leaving the option open).
I'm at 7 pass days so technically it doesn't matter even if I have 300+ libation calories (extremely unlikely, basically impossible from a practical standpoint).
BUT...I will update later if it changes from 3xYes.

I appreciate each and every one of you that jump in to answer questions, and provide insight and encouragement to all of our team members each and every day. I've been in many groups on MFP over the years, but none of them come close to this close-knit group of amazing folks. We make a great team and I'm so grateful to be on this healthy lifestyle journey with all of you.7 -

Happy New Year everyone! I truly hope 2022 will be a much better year than either 2020 or 2021 and we won't have to deal with this stupid Covid anymore by the end of 2022.
Our NYE plans were canceled earlier today because one of our hosts was feeling poorly this morning and decided it would be too risky to get together. She had a PCR test but still has no results. We ended up getting Thai takeout instead which would probably keep me within my calorie limits but since I've decided to imbibe this evening I'll end up over which makes for Pass Day #5. I don't feel too bad about it because 4 of 5 pass days were exercise related.
Next year will be pedal to the metal in regards to UAC.10 -

The bottle of wine is still uncorked (and will remain so tonight) .... so those calories I worked everything else in the day around ended up being converted (after supper) to other things.

Planned Pass Day
I saved my last pass day of 2021 for today as I was planning on taking a rest from tracking. DH and I had our usual quiet celebration. Prosecco and modest nibbles figured in the mix,
Itβs been a good year for me as I have finished well below my original maintenance goal.
Even with Christmas and New Year indulgences, I am well below my upper maintenance weight. Any uptick will soon be gone, thanks to the daily habits I have been developing.
Eyes forward! Quick march!
2022, here we come!9 -
