Today’s a pass because I went over. I don’t feel bad because it was a bunch of Korean food so it wasn’t that bad for me.5

✅✅✅
3 mile run. I haven’t run in like two weeks and boy oh boy do you lose some umph after 2 weeks! I look forward to getting back in the groove and runs being easier again.
The plan I’ve come up with for the next at least two months:
Calorie intake: 1850, not eating exercise calories back
Exercise: 3 run days, 3 gym days, 1 yoga day
Goals for January, outside of standard UAC
- if I feel the need to go over my calorie limit, stay within my exercise calories
- Keep my runs at least 3 miles. I have a history of not running in the winter since I hate treadmills and then I am back to starting at like 1 mile runs in April. Not this year, my runs will stay 3 miles and up.
- Read 3 books, responsibly. (I say this because I’m the type to start a book and then finish it and one sitting and realize crap it’s 5am and I didn’t sleep. I’m too old for that these days, which is one of the reasons I tend not to read anymore. I used to read 3 books a week. Responsible reading is key.)
- Go with the flow and don’t let it stress me out to the point of binging of my kids school goes remote/hybrid (rumors are out there) and my office needs to turn into Banking/1st Grade again.
- Up the veggies.8 -

Hey, @StayFITTer I have one, but not yet ever connected with anyone for Fitbit community or challenges etc. Friend / PM if you wish and we can figure out how that works. (I don't even know how to identify myself in that community! The "handle" won't be the same as here 🤷♀️)0 -

Congratulations to all of you in the winner circle - I'm truly in awe of you!
I decided to add a daily walk to my exercise habit. I realized that with all the rain we've been having, there were days where I didn't leave the house. It felt yucky to be cooped up inside. Hopefully I can catch up on some podcasts while I'm out and about.6 -

Happy New Year everyone! Congratulations to each of the Winners’ Circle members — inspiring! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
✅✅✅ for today5 -
Planned Pass Day today. Didn't track in mfp and most likely was over calories a little, so No and No.
Exercise-YES:
We've had snow on the ground since the 26th but I wanted to get at least a little run in, so did a short 20:22 minute jog on the treadmill this first day in 2022. 😄

It looks like we dodged a bullet last night. As I mentioned yesterday our friends canceled our NYE get together as one wasn't feeling well yesterday morning. As it turned out they both tested positive. I've sort of resigned myself to getting Covid this winter since omicron is so contagious but I'm still taking the usual precautions in an attempt to avoid it as much as I can while still enjoying life.
Great job by those of you who made it in the Winners Circle in the difficult month of December.8 -
Congratulations winners circle! Amazing job! You should be really proud of yourselves.
Yes x3 today
Cracked out the ring fit to play with my son - which was really fun. Kind of forgot how much I enjoyed it.
I'm going to be doing the 30 day challenge from yoga with Adrienne this month and I'm pretty excited.6 -

Starting the year with a pass day. I was so determined to start it off right and then NYE when it was time to preplan my day I just had a rebellious moment and did NOT want to. So I didn't. We had our traditional NYE brunch (we used to have people over but this year just our family) and I enjoyed it.
Exercise - 40 minute walk
Tracking - No
Calories - I'm sure over
I have preplanned the day for the day and am very determined to have a good month
My goals are just the UAC goals, with the addition of preplanning the next day every night, which is what makes it all possible for me. I do really want to have a winner's circle month. There is nothing planned for the month that should derail that - no plans for the month at all, actually. I am not off to a great start, but I have 2 more pass days.
My plan is 1200 calories M-Th, 1350 F-Sun. With the idea that I can preplan a day up to 2000 calories up to once a week any day of the week if we're getting some good takeout (I've called this "takeout Friday" in the past but it's not always on Fridays). I do eat back my exercise calories, which are minor - usually 100-150 most days - it does incentivize the exercise.
@mshawski I love that idea of "responsible reading" - I really struggle with that as well - any fun book will keep me up, so I really can only read a good book when I have the time to spend all day reading it-or just suffer from lack of sleep! Let me know if you find any tips to manage responsible reading! My solution is to only read "boring" books at night. But I need to find my next boring book! Also crossing my fingers here that school stays in-person AND we all avoid COVID -probably too much to hope for and honestly since we are all vaxxed I am hoping for staying in-person more if I had to choose. Please take my kids so I can work in peace!!!

planning ahead... I had sugar free chocolates to eat while others were eating
candies... I had some healthy special treats to snack on, I was able to have a
couple of drinks on Christmas Eve & New Years Eve.... I LOVE the Skinny girl
Margarita mix 0 calories & 0 Carbs...... but most importantly I put in extra walks,
which raised my calories range... I figured If I maintained weight during Holidays

Started the year with a pass day, as I expected. My day was filled with 17 family for brunch and our Christmas party. It was so much fun. The best part was listening to my 3 daughters reminisce about their childhood. We were having such a good time, talking, laughing, playing games. Another beautiful moment was finding my husband and one 7 year old grandson alone in our basement living room, talking about life. I really wish I could have recorded that. It was 7pm before everyone left and my heart is full.8
-
Amending my report for yesterday to a pass day. I'm not going to dwell on it or analyze it because there are too many factors right now (stress, diet changes, lack of getting outside) and I've been aware this could happen. Just moving forward with the plan and doing all I literally can.8

I’m Amy. I’m new to the group.
Jan 1 I shoveled snow for 50 minutes. I ate under my calories, logging everything. And I met my water goal! That’s a challenge for me.10 -

Exercise? Yes, but not as planned. The annual RAT Race was held this morning (Run Around Tucson). It's an ~53 mile relay race. I wasn't running, but since the second leg was going to pass my apartment complex, I decided to take Sienna out to cheer on the runners and then take her for a nice long walk. However... it was raining, windy, and cold. Since I was planning on standing under a "ramada" type thing, I thought we'd be okay, so I put Sienna's raincoat on her, pulled on my hood and off we went. She did her business, and then we waited. It was only about 10 minutes of standing around, but it felt like forever. The wind was blowing the rain under the shelter, my fingers felt frozen, and there wasn't a runner in sight. I thought I'd timed it pretty well... not well enough, obviously, they probably showed up about 5-10 minutes after I wussed out and took Sienna home. Sienna and I did run home. Never made the long walk.Tracking? Yes. Something I haven't done much of in the last two or three weeks.
Calories? Nope. Not even close.
I've got a lot of work ahead of me....6 -
